Experience Tucson by staying in the center of it all at the Hideaway on 4th!

Enjoy this quiet studio in the Historic West University neighborhood.

Take a short stroll or the streetcar to the University of Arizona (0.5mi), Downtown Tucson (0.8mi) and of course, Historic 4th Avenue (0.4mi). The Hideaway is just a one-minute walk to the Tucson Sun Link Streetcar pick up/stop located at University and 3rd Street.

The Hideaway is a charming studio apartment that sleeps two, making it the perfect couples' retreat. This private-entrance space features a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, gas cooktop, and dishwasher, alongside a full bath and designated parking. Step outside to enjoy your own private patio, complete with a bistro table and chairs.

To support extended stays, access to our shared on-site laundry facilities (washer and dryer) is provided upon request for reservations of 7 nights or more.

Great location, very private and quiet, good space for two people. It had everything we needed. Only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars was the "step up" to kitchen/bath and low ceiling in those areas...very tight for a tall person. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would choose this again if in Tucson.

A great little getaway near it all

This location was walking distance to just about everything you could want to do in Tuscon! The property was safe, clean and lovely. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The apartment is tiny with the majority of the room taken up by a king-sized bed. The bathroom is in the kitchen and does not have circulation. There is a wall-unit AC which cooled the bed area but not the kitchen area. It is not well-stocked with supplies such as toilet paper. Upon arriving, the place was clean. The check-in process was easy and the manager responded quickly. She offered one change of clean sheets during our 3.5 week stay. There is no laundry facility at the property. We chose this place for the price and location which were both excellent. Overall for a short stay it would be great but for a longer stay, I might look for other options that include more amenities and better AC during the summer.

The location was great, went to a few Arizona events (basketball and football) and was very easy to get there both walking and ubering. It was clean, the bed was very comfy, kitchen had everything I needed. Overhead shower was nice. Didn’t have to contact host during stay but they were readily available and responsive before and after checkout. Would stay again.

Cozy and great location on 4th street

The place was cozy and quaint. Neighbors were friendly— convenient to race we were in and to 4th street shops and eateries—- all within walking distance 🙌👍 the park right across the way was perfect for our working k9.

Small and lovely

A small place that is well designed. It had everything we needed except maybe windows. I was impressed with the thoughtfulness that went into the unusual kitchen.

Safe, secure parking area, safe secure residence and safe secure small courtyard. Conveniently located to many amenities. Very well equipped, the only things that could have been better is bed pillows and a bit better lighting in kitchen area. Otherwise comfortable and happy with the unit. Host quickly responsive to inquiries.

I enjoyed my stay at this VRBO, the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. This unit is centrally located in Tucson and is near a park. The unit is private and sheltered from traffic and noise as it faces the rear courtyard side of the property. The unit is tastefully decorated and its obvious that the owner has an artistic sense of style. I would highly recommend staying at this VRBO.

Wonderful Tiny Home

We had a wonderful 10-day stay at this cozy tiny home on Historic 4th Avenue in Downtown Tucson. The home was thoughtfully designed and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We especially appreciated the small courtyard, where our two little dogs loved sunning themselves. The neighborhood was fantastic—Barb and her adorable Shih Tzu, Archie, were friendly and welcoming. We walked at least six miles a day, exploring the Mercado, University of Arizona, Congress Street, and the vibrant Historic 4th Avenue. Sara, the host, was incredibly responsive and made sure our stay was perfect. We highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting Tucson!
