Welcome to the Saguaro Casita – A Hidden Gem in the Sonoran Desert, surrounded by miles of walking, hiking and biking trails right outside your door!

Our tiny home is perfect for solo travelers but can comfortably accommodate two with a trundle bed.

This casita sits on a gated 2-acre property, offering a secure and spacious environment—perfect for travelers with bikes, gear, or other valuables they need to store in their vehicles overnight.

This space is peaceful, filled with character, and perfect for those who want to experience the magic of Tucson firsthand. Whether you're sipping coffee on the patio as hummingbirds flutter by or stargazing under the vast desert sky, you’ll find tranquility and inspiration here.

I’d love to share this special place with you that’s minutes from the UofA, restaurants, shopping and downtown. Come and stay in a casita that holds decades of warmth and history—you just might fall in love with Tucson the way so many of our guests have 🌵

I’m a proud Tucson native with deep roots in this desert community. After graduating from the University of Arizona, I spent years traveling as a news gypsy, exploring stories across the country. But no matter where I roamed, Tucson was always home. Now, I’ve settled back into the town where I started, surrounded by the landscapes and traditions I love.

I didn’t just choose this neighborhood—I was born and raised here. My family’s history is woven into this area, and my dad himself cut the main road with his truck when it was just a dirt path. For me, this casita isn’t just a home; it’s coming full circle. It’s a return to the place where my journey began, surrounded by familiar desert landscapes and the warmth of a tight-knit community.

This tiny house may be small, but it offers a grand view. The large picture window frames towering saguaros that have stood for over 200 years—living landmarks of the Sonoran Desert, growing just an inch every 12 years. Right outside the door, miles of trails invite you to explore the rugged beauty of the landscape, while the casita itself is perfectly situated to face away from the main house, offering privacy and uninterrupted views of the majestic Catalina Mountains. Nestled on a gated 2-acre property, this peaceful retreat lets you experience the quiet magic of the desert while still being close to everything Tucson has to offer.
