The view was amazing, the place was clean and had everything we needed including easy access and walking distance to restaurants and the beaches. We has a fantastic time and hope to return. The owners communicated well with us and made our stay a dream.

We absolutely loved this apartment. Beautiful view of the ocean and sunsets! The breeze was also nice with the windows open. This area is absolutely breathtaking and a prime location. The host is very kind and quick to respond. The wildlife is stunning. My daughter had a bird friend that stayed outside her window on the roof next door that she loved being able to watch. For our first time in California we are fully satisfied with our stay and appreciate the hospitality!

I’ll start with the positives: close to the beach and fairly quiet other than construction next door. It’s close to shopping and great restaurants. The negatives: property is very dated, needs a remodel. Especially the bathrooms. The beds were uncomfortable and need new mattresses. The paint is peeling in many areas and the window screens were very dirty. There is no AC, so it was hot and humid in the room 24 hrs a day. We will not book there again unless it’s winter time and we can guarantee it won’t be hot. Hopefully they do some updating, cleaning, and general maintenance to the property soon.

This unit has photos that accurately showcase it's current look. We mention in the listing multiple times that there is no AC, like many homes in La Jolla being close to the beach! We have since updated the screens but have not heard any issues with the beds, I think unfortunately this guest was upset that they didn't book a rental with AC during a heat wave!

Our host provided extra plates, water and wine glasses and flatware and chairs so we could host Thanksgiving dinner for 8! Kitchen well equipped, beds were comfortable, view unsurpassed! We loved it.

The view, the location and the kitchen were strong points.The unit needs some TLC and a really good cleaning (e.g. heater vents were pretty dirty) and other areas were tired in terms of upkeep.

This accommodation fell short of expectations. The vacation rental was disappointingly dirty, and while I'm reluctant to leave negative feedback, I felt compelled to share this in hopes they'll enhance their service standards. The scenery didn't offer much appeal, and the unit lacked air conditioning. Upon arrival, the temperature inside was 88 degrees, and we were advised to use the fans with a promise that additional ones would be delivered. Unfortunately, the ceiling fan was unstable and posed a safety concern.After bringing this matter to the host's attention, they were adamant about not offering a refund because they hadn't listed air conditioning as an amenity. I can see their point to some extent, but the filthiness of the unit was absolutely unacceptable. Even if the unit had included AC, I wouldn't have stayed due to the overall condition of the space. This isn't meant to damage their reputation, but rather to encourage them to deliver a high quality product backed by excellent customer service.The baseboards needed a good painting, the window seals and heating vents were peeling back quite a bit they need scrapping and painting as well, the bathroom sink had heavy staining, the dining room table showed signs of damage and staining, the ceiling fan wobbled noticeably, and the refrigerator had spots on both its interior and exterior surfaces whether from dirt, stains, or something else entirely.

West Coast Getaway

Very nice property with an ideal location. Steps from the beaches, shops and restaurants. Cool ocean breezes each night in the apt. Plenty of parking too around the property.

Walk all over La Jolla!

Wonderful two bedroom condo with an amazing view of the Pacific ocean waves from the top floor. Very, very clean and super convenient to walk around La Jolla and stroll by the oceanfront.Would definitely stay here again and again!

Beach view was exceptional from our living room window. Clean space. Very limited cooking supplies but we cooked, used stove and oven and all worked out well. Could b not ask for better rental.

Nice stay in La Jolla right off the beach. View from the living room was amazing. Surprised that the half bath did not have a second toilet, but rather a second shower. Beds were comfortable. Parking was easy for overnight on the street, but had to move car every 2 hours during day time when at the condo.

Great view

This 3rd story condo has one of the best views in La Jolla. Very close to restaurants but would recommend driving to a more kid friendly beach “ La Jolla shores” Parking can be tricky depending on time of day but to be expected with this area overall was a great stay!

Incredible ocean view! Good communication from host, across the street from the beach, so could watch the sunset each night. Steps away from the wonderful coastal walking path right along the ocean and up to La Jolla Cove and beyond. Sea lions and seals hang out every day along the cove, so interesting! Don’t miss The Cave shop and the walk downstairs to the sea cave. Unit clean with comfortable beds, but a bit older refurbishment than I expected from the pictures. Kitchen completely updated and appliances fine. Bring your own coffee for the first morning! Would recommend especially based on the amazing ocean views!!!

Outstanding with Fabulous Views!

This Condo was in the perfect location to meet up with our two (26 and 24 year-old sons) who both live within half an hour of La Jolla. We walked everywhere and even spent a day at the Safari Park. The beach across the street was amazing and there were weddings held on the grass area every day in the late afternoon. The Condo was beautiful and both beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family.
