Stayed here in August '26.5 adults and 2 kids and it was perfect.Beautifully maintained manicured gardens, and views to die for over the sea.The pool was ideal to cool down in, and the kids were never short of things to do.They also have a few well kept local cats who are very friendly (and surprisingly well behaved around a 4&8 year old).Emmanuel was an extremely helpful and knowledgeable host.We would definitely return.

Thanks for the beautiful feedback Marie. We are already looking into a solution for a third bathroom and hope to get this added soon. Anyway, I am glad that you enjoyed your stay and wish to see you soon again!

Aufenthalt Sommer 2019

Gerne wieder!

The better side of Rhodes......

We chose this property because it was away from the east side of Rhodes where properties tend to be cheek by jowl and very touristy. It absolutely did not disappoint! Despite appearing to be more "remote", there was a beach bar/taverna within walking distance and others within a short drive. The views from every aspect of the house were simply outstanding. The gardens, pool, bbq area and other outside areas were of a high standard. The only negatives that we would highlight are the absence of showers and damaged fly/mosquito screens in most bedrooms. We resorted to using the outside shower because of the absence of stand up showers which was not ideal. A house of this calibre in every other respect, should have a minimum of 2 dedicated showers and I would imagine most holiday makers during the hot summer months, would prefer a shower to a bath. As the house does not have air conditioning, intact mosquito screens are essential and as most are damaged in the bedrooms, this would be problematic in the hotter months, as people could not comfortably leave windows open (to create draughts) without fear of being severely bothered by mosquitos. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the villa well presented and Emmanuel very friendly and responsive. We could not have asked for a better owner. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to return to the villa in the future.

Thanks for this extensive, constructive and honest review Lindsay! I am glad that you enjoyed your stay at our house and I appreciate your improvement suggestions. Regarding the mosquito screens that need to be repaired, it goes beyond saying that fixing this is our first priority. As you described very well, the house may not need air conditioning due to its micro-climate, but keeping those mosquitoes out is essential to leave the windows open at night. Regarding the showers, you are absolutely right that the house needs a dedicated shower inside, apart from the one in the yard. Building two will be technically tough, but we are going to think thoroughly about rebuilding one of the bathrooms to replace the bathtub with a shower. It was a pleasure to meet you and to be your host. You are welcome at this house at any time again!

Absolut empfehlenswert!
