We were a group of four adults and three children. It was a great size. Space for us to gather together but also plenty of room for privacy. Really enjoyed our stay.

Backwater Retreat was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We appreciated the excellent communication between us and the property management. There is no A/C, but it wasn’t a problem. We just opened the upstairs windows and used fans to allow the fresh air to circulate. The home was nicely decorated and fully furnished with everything you need to enjoy your stay. We’d totally book this place again.

Powder Valley

Very clean, comfortable, and spacious condo in Driggs. Plenty of room for a family of five - my kids loved the loft. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Great access to the attractions in the area.

Super-spacious, well-appointed condo

The check-in process couldn’t have been easier, and our family of four had an incredible amount of room to spread out and relax, including a full bath for each kid and a separate one for the parents! Teton Valley Realty Management was great to deal with when we had a rental issue come up, and did their best to resolve it quickly and fairly. One tip: if you’re staying there in the summer, be sure to come up with a strategy for the windows and fans as there is no A/C.

The place was great! The only 2 things I would have wanted to know ahead of time was that there is no A/C and the pull out couch bed is really, really thin so maybe a child wouldn’t mind it. As far as A/C, coming from the southeast where you must have A/C in the summer it threw us off the first day but once we figured out to open windows at sundown and close all blinds during the day we were ok!

Thank you for your review and feedback! We agree, the pull out sofa is best suitable for a child or someone who doesn't mind that type of bedding. We are glad you enjoyed your stay!

My Stay In Driggs

The property was beautiful clean and convenient. The only issue was, it was very hot on the third floor. There was no air-conditioning and it made it difficult to sleep. We closed the shades during the day used fans, whatever we could, but it’s still really heated up.

What a great place to stay on the backside of Grand Teton. It’s about 45 minutes from Jackson, but I’d stay there again for sure. Well kept home in a quiet neighborhood.

Powder Valley 2021

This unit had everything we needed. Great location! We had plenty of room and the beds were clean and comfortable. The only negatives would be the wobbly steps coming in from the garage and would prefer newer washcloths in the bathrooms. Thanks for a great visit to the west!

Quiet and relaxing

Quiet place to just relax and bond with family. We were about an hour from Jackson Hole and the Teton National Park. Beautiful area and got away from the business. Drove in to Jackson and to the Teton National Park. The drive was absolutely beautiful with the most amazing views and overlooks. We drove to a little swimming and camping area near us in Driggs called The Big Eddy. We didn’t, but a great place to paddle board, Kayak, or just swim in the Teton River. The townhouse we stayed in fit seven girls comfortably. Nice deck to BBQ, The Sunsets were so beautiful there. The place had plenty of towels, and very well stocked kitchen. We loved the huge island to prep food. It was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this place! We had a wonderful stay.

Very nice.

The 2 negatives were, the grill was filthy and there was no propane. I think it is ridiculous that we pay a cleaning deposit and have to start the laundry.

Teton Valley Condo

Location in Driggs ID is good for seeing the Tetons and Yellowstone, but quieter and less tourist- focused than Jackson Hole. Unit is comfortable and attractively furnished. Pre-arrival housekeeping was OK, not super — my girlfriend felt obligated to do some spot vacuuming, coffee maker had spilt grounds inside, dishes were washed but not put away. Kitchen was adequately equipped for cooking we did. Gas grill was not the greatest - ignition did not work and no thermometer. Mgmt company seemed well- organized and was responsive to our questions.
