This property was incredible! It looked even better in person than in the pictures, the outdoor space and the view was stunning! The property was clean and well decorated giving a home like ambiance! We had a small issue arise during our stay and interacted with the hosts about it and they were communicative, kind, and addressed the issue quickly. They also had a fantastic recommendation based on our interest in visiting the area. It was honestly the best experience and a place I would return to anytime I am in the area! I highly recommend!

A quiet retreat in a beautiful location! 4 of us, all female grads ‘73 who still enjoy gathering for laughs and memories. We cooked quite a bit - found the kitchen well-equipped and nice assortment of dining areas. The theater room was great… We watched a different movie every night. The beds were very comfortable. Host Karen responded to every text/question almost instantaneously… She was terrific!

We really enjoyed having the spaces to eat together, play games, and just hang out! Sitting on the different patios in the mornings and evenings was a highlight for me! We also enjoyed access to the kayaks! The host was a great communicator and we will be back!

This place was ideal. Lovely view of the lake. Great family space. The host was so helpful. The location was wonderful felt like you were in the country but close to airport and activities. Also no problem ordering food and a target near by.

My wife and I had a long weekend at this Lakeside house outside charlotte in August. The house was very clean, the owner. Karen, communicated regularly before and during the stay to make sure everything was as we thought it should be. The house was very well appointed, and we loved using the kayaks daily to go out on the lake. Would definitely recommend!

My family had a great time here. The location is very convienent to downtown Charlotte and many other places. If you needed anything, there were stores and restaurants nearby as well. We enjoyed the kayaks, fishing, exploring and then relaxing in the movie room. The birds and wildlife on the water was fun to watch while sipping coffee on the screened in poach ( bring your binoculars). Karen helped provide answers to any and all questions in a timely matter too. We really enjoyed our stay!!

We absolutely loved staying here! Felt like home! The house itself is gorgeous and well maintained. The location on the lake is also a plus. My son had a great time kayaking. Also, close to all stores and entertainment such as the NASCAR Hall of Fame and Bank of America Stadium. My family and I would definitely stay here again if in the area. Highly recommend!

Kayak Cove was lovely and met the needs of my family. We enjoyed the cinema room, the outdoor patios, and of course, the kayaks! Karen was so thoughtful to check on us and to take care of a minor issue quickly and thoroughly.
