We were happy with the location, cleanliness, and most of all, the concierge service which assisted in booking several tours during our stay. Amazing experience booking with Arenal Heights Villas. The included concierge service was phenomenal and helped us plan an unforgettable stay. The vendors they work with were all top notch. Appreciated the restaurant recommendations as well. The villa was exactly as portrayed and the layout worked perfectly for my family of 5. The kids enjoyed the pool. We had a gorgeous view of the Arenal volcano. With the way the villas are set up, it felt very private and we barely noticed we had neighbors. Super simple check in and check out. The fruit bowl welcoming us upon our arrival after a long travel day was a great touch. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay! Andrea and team made sure we had everything needed from plans, to cleaning service even during our stay! Location is great. Not right in the hustle and bustle of town but a quick drive away. House was clean and had plenty of room. Pool was great, a little cold for my taste, but the weather had been cold and rainy prior to our arrival. The hotub on the balcony was perfect. We had a great weather day and the view of the volcano was awesome. I’m still in awe. Some constructive feed back would be that the sheets are noisy and could be more comfortable but it didnt take away from the experience and I still give it 5 stars. I would definitely stay here again.

Stunning Villa

The villa is stunning, just as pictured with the most amazing views of the volcano. Close to many attractions and within walking distance of a coffee/ice cream shop and a couple of restaurants. Andrea was a great host, very responsive and handled all of our needs.

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this place. The property was 100% clean, well-maintained, and stocked with everything we needed. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free.My kids loved the pool and hot tub, and the rooms were comfortable with clean bathrooms and cozy beds. The location was excellent, very close to coffee shops, restaurants, and local attractions.Although we couldn’t see the volcano because of the cloudy weather, the surrounding nature was beautiful. One of the highlights of our trip was spotting a sloth within walking distance of the property, so we didn’t even need to book a sloth tour! There is also a great trail right in front of the house. About half a mile down, you’ll find a small river where we spent time soaking and enjoying nature. It was absolutely worth it.The only reason I’m giving it a 9/10 instead of a perfect score is that there was a noticeable odor inside the house at times. Opening the windows helped, although a few flies came in. Some additional ventilation might improve the experience.Overall, an amazing stay, and we would happily return. Thank you for a great experience!

Great location!

We recently stayed at this villa in June and it was a great experience! The concierge staff is so professional and very prompt in their responses! They were very helpful in helping book our local activities and tours! The house itself is in a great location, though a little further from the city center (which we were ok with!). It is well-stocked and had plenty of space for our family of 6 to be comfortable and spread out! Although it rained most of the time, when it was clear the volcano views were amazing! Highly recommend!

Perfect spot between the adventures

A clean and modern building located right between La Fortuna town and all the national park sites so you never seem far from anything. This slept our family of 5 perfectly. The owner and concierge are always a quick text away for any questions or issues. There are QR codes around the house that link to video descriptions for how to work different items like the jacuzzi. There is a bit of new construction going up around the condo, so there is a bit of construction worker foot traffic at the time of our stay. The view from the condo was a stunning reminder of where we were every morning. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

Beautiful property in a fantastic location. Views of the volcano and surrounding areas, walking distance to a number of amenities and restaurants, easy to access all the activities we wanted to do.The only thing to mention is a bit of road noise but earplugs are provided so I used those. No-one else in my family needed them at all. Also there is building work going on in front of the property which wasn’t mentioned. They didn’t start until after 8am and finished by 6pm so it didn’t bother us noise wise but spoils the view slightly. The hosts were fantastic and communication was great throughout.

Super verblijf

Heel fijn huis. Als ik een klein puntje van kritiek mag geven dan is het dat er geen vaatwasser aanwezig is en de druk in de douche niet optimaal is. Zeker niet als beide douche worden gebruikt.

Greetings, I'm Diego Blanco, the Founder & Host of Concierge Arenal Rental Services & Arenal Heights Villas, with over 23 years of experience in Costa Rica's tourism industry.

Raised near the captivating Arenal Volcano, I pursued studies in tropical biology and business at the University of Costa Rica. My journey in tourism began during college, where I worked as a cruise ship tour guide, igniting a passion for showcasing Costa Rica's natural wonders.

Following graduation, I dedicated myself to becoming a full-time nature guide and later transitioned into roles as a Tour Conductor for prestigious agencies like Abercrombie & Kent, Condé Nast, Wilderness Travel, Virtuoso Agencies, Geographic Expeditions, and others. These diverse experiences provided me with a profound understanding of service, luxury travel and hotel management.

Throughout my career, I've held various leadership positions, including Product Manager, Operations Manager, Hotels Director, Operations Director, and Sales Director for international corporations. I had the privilege of overseeing renowned entities such as Costa Rica Expeditions, a leading Tour Operator in Costa Rica and Latin America.
Additionally, I directed the esteemed Tortuga Lodge & Gardens and Monteverde Lodge & Gardens, where I had the invaluable opportunity to learn from Michael Kaye, a pioneer known as the Godfather of Ecotourism in Latin America.

After the pandemic, I embarked on a new chapter by co-found Concierge Arenal Rental Services & Arenal Heights Villas. Presently, we are dedicated to crafting 8 luxurious villas in the breathtaking Arenal Volcano area and managing 14 properties through Concierge Arenal services.

Our mission remains steadfast: to provide exceptional, personalized service, offering guests unforgettable experiences amidst Costa Rica's stunning natural beauty. Sustainability and the highest standards of hospitality drive our endeavors, ensuring every guest's stay is nothing short of extraordinary.

As a child, I fondly recall visiting the very location where Arenal Heights now stands. It was a cherished tradition for families in the area to gather on Sundays and journey to Arenal Volcano to witness its flowing lava and revel in its natural splendor. These Sunday picnics were commonplace, and locals affectionately dubbed this spot the "lookout fields."

In the 1980s, before any development took place, the customary route included a visit to the thermal spring river near Tabacon Resort, now affectionately known as "el Chollin," followed by a barbecue at the lookout fields that lasted until sunset. These memories from my childhood planted the seed of a dream within me: to one day create a tourism project in this very area.

Today, I am thrilled to have turned that dream into reality. Arenal Heights stands as a testament to my lifelong aspiration to share the awe-inspiring beauty of Arenal Volcano with the world.
