Recientemente compramos esta propiedad, y la remodelamos por completo con el sueño de convertirla en un lugar donde las familias / grupos puedan tener una estadía relajante, económica y agradable en la ciudad mágica y aventurera de La Fortuna.
La casa se encuentra a 3 minutos en coche del centro de la ciudad, donde encontrará todo lo que se encuentra en la línea de restaurantes, cafeterías, supermercados, tiendas, agencias de viajes y vida nocturna. Hay 10 minutos en coche de los centros turísticos de aguas termales de fama mundial (Baldi, Tabacon, Eco y 25 minutos en coche de la selva tropical de los puentes colgantes Mistico. También está cerca del Volcán Arenal, el lago y muchas cascadas.

We had a great stay at Vasa Turquesa. The house was amazing! Loved the decor! The kitchen was well-stocked and the pool was relaxing in the evenings. I would definitely stay there again.

Everything about the property was perfect for us. Very comfortable. All the amenities of home and a well thought out design. We loved the pool area and large open room just inside the pool. The property management was well kept and the host communicated with us very well.

The property was beautiful and very secure.The highway had noise, but it didn’t bother us.There was a problem with the pool, but the owner was very responsive. I would recommend this property to others.

Excellent spot

Family of 6 with kids grandparents. Kids shared the king and adults in the other bedrooms. The house itself had everything needed and was quite comfortable. Pool area was awesome. Host was super responsive and accomidating. Located just outside downtown La Fortuna it was an easy drive to everything we wanted to do. Would recommend to all!

Fabulous pool area

We were a family of 6- 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 girls 4.5 and 7.5 yrs old. We loved the colourful house. There was plenty of room on the main floor- 3 sitting areas. The bedrooms were great! But the best part was the pool with the waterfall. My grandkids loved it so much! I think we went swimming 3 times a day.! Now the cons. There is no hot water in the kitchen to wash the dishes. Also,the oven dial markings have disappeared. So it was a bit difficult when you wanted to use the oven. Other than that we lived the place. Especially the grandkids!

Perfect for a family vacay in La Fortuna

Casa Turquesa was a wonderful place for our family to stay for our vacation in the La Fortuna area. We felt safe in the gated property. The pool was perfect for the kids. The decor was elegant and charming at the same time. And you can’t beat the location! It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the city bit just a quick 5-minute drive into town. Highly recommend!

Refreshing dip

We enjoyed our stay and the lovely outdoor pool. Had minor problems with the a/c but they were handled very quickly by the owner. We would definitely recommend it to others.

amazing vacation home

We had 6 adults and 1 2 year old. Home was perfect for us. Beds comfortable, house very clean, set up perfectly. The pool was amazing which we enjoyed daily. Proximity to restaurants and sites was perfect. Yes there was traffic noise but no big deal, got used to it. Only slight downfall the tub had no plug for bath, owner stated it was broken but never did get fixed. With a 2 year old not being able to bath after long days it was a bit of issue but managed with the shower hose. As well had to go buy extra paper towels and some spices (garlic, oregano, oil etc) again no big deal. would be nice to have lounge chairs outside. However none of these issues would take away the amazing experience we had. Carolina was very quick to respond to any questions and very kind. Pura Vida Costa Rica we will be back!!

The best POOL!

This house was a perfect place for myself and 2 girlfriends. The pool was so fun with a waterfall and swim up bar. The locations is also very close and convenient to town.

Perfect family home close to everything

Perfect house for our family of 5. Great pool. Location to all the adventures was great too. We went zip lining, went to the hanging bridges and hiked to the waterfall. All very close.

Perfect Location

Couldn’t be happier with this property and location in La Fortuna. Plenty of space and close to all the activities. Host was very responsive to questions. The kids enjoyed the pool and the lights outside at night made it easy to enjoy once the sun went down

Very Nice House Great Stay

Five of us stayed here for a week in June. Me, wife, 2 kids, and my mother. This property fit all our needs. I think it was nicer than the pictures. Internet was fast. Location was good(only 5 minutes from town center). House was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was furnished well. Favorite part was of course the pool, swim up bar, and waterfall. We will book again if ever in the area!

A Perfect Place for a Friend Group Trip

We had a wonderful time at this VRBO! The space was very clean, comfortable, and cute. We loved the pool and swim up bar. There were pool towels and pool toys for guests, which was a nice added touch. We did run out of toilet paper and there was one less towel than we needed, but Carolina had someone come bring the supplies we needed on the same day, which was wonderful. Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to any larger group (we were 7 friends), but do keep in mind, if you have more than 6 people, someone will have to sleep on a couch! Thank you again :)

Adorable Home Close to town

Overall, the property is PERFECT for a small group. 3 bedrooms, master suite is huge! Nice living space and the grounds are meticulously well kept and provides plenty of outdoor fun and space with the pool and grilling area. It is exceptionally close to town which was nice only taking five minutes to drive to town. I cannot say enough good things about the home. Only negatives would be… And this is being open and honest, several lightbulbs need to be replaced, they do not provide any soaps or shampoo/conditioner for the bathrooms. And only one towel per person, no face rags to wash with if you enjoy cooking as we did by providing breakfast every morning , it is a very practical and well stocked kitchen with utensils but their knives need to be sharpened. Only salt and a little sugar provided so you will need to provide your own oil, spices, coffee. The next time we stay in La Fortuna, we would definitely consider renting this VRBO again in addition to the above, I did notice in the laundry room. There were two air mattresses for overflow of kids. Several games were provided for entertainment as well. I hope this helps anyone in the future. Looking to rent a VRBO in the La Fortuna area. There is also a chalkboard upstairs that has all of their local recommendations for activities and places to eat, which was nice. I highly recommend the tour company called Red Lava and one guide Franklin is extremely educated with all history, wildlife, Flora, and Fauna, as well as Hilarious!

Unique house at the rainforest

What a fun house. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The pool was lovely and the chairs outside were so comfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful. Thanks so much.

Wonderful place to stay

We had a wonderful time at Casa Turquesa! It was in a great location. Was convenient to town to get to the grocery stores, sodas (small local restaurants and convenient to many of the area attractions like hiking, ziplining, waterfalls, hot springs, etc. House was well stocked and comfortable for our family of 6. The pool was an awesome bonus. We spent our evenings out there relaxing after a day of touring the area. Owner was very responsive to any questions/concerns we had. We like to visit different areas, but if we were to return, we would definitely rent at this location again.

Great house near LaFortuna area

This house is spacious with nice area around it. The best part is private swimming pool with little waterfall and wet bar. Inside the house there are 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms although one of them is located downstairs near the kitchen. Location is close to main road which helps to quickly get to all major LaFortuna attractions but also a bit noisy because of passing cars. Overall it's a great property in LaFortuna big enough to host a group of 4-6 people and with nice flat parking space in front of it

Our names are Luis and Carolina, we have been together for 20 years, and have 4 kids. We reside in California and run a construction business. Our dream is to retire in La Fortuna in the near future so we bought this house, and made it a home to be loved and enjoyed by vacationers in the meanwhile. It has been quite an experience, we expected to make only some cosmetic changes, but things changed along the way. We ended up fully demolishing and reconstructing the second floor, fully remodeling the first floor while adding square footage, and a carport, and a resort style pool. We have had fun planning and decorating the house to make it warm, welcoming, and unique. We hope you enjoy your stay and make tons of memories.
