Cottage was nice but we had to repair three of the sliding screens, there was no hot tub as listed and the water area was more sludge than sand as listed. Nice and quiet though but not as expected from reading the listing. Would not recommend.

You should have mentioned the matter of the sliding doors during your stay and we could have had it attended to. The cottage has never had a hot tub and it has never been advertised as such to our knowledge. Lake levels are lower this year and that certainly affects the lake bottom however, the shoreline is grassy and sandy. We love it!
Very large cottage. Great setting. Peaceful. Fantastic view of small lake from very large deck. No real beach to speak of (grass lawn extends pretty much to water’s edge), but excellent swimming for small children-clear lake, sandy bottom, shallow. Very well-equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are on three different levels so large family like ours can stay together but also enjoy some privacy. Excellent communication with host. Description in listing is very accurate.
This cottage was in a very quiet location. We saw lots of wildlife around the lake. The facilities were just as described and Alex was very quick to reply to my messages prior to arrival.
We did find some items in the kitchen to be dirty and hard to find but overall it was well stocked.
I would definitely recommend this cottage for a group looking forward to a quiet getaway.
