December 2018 Stay

Condo was nice and stocked very well in the kitchen. Good location. Our only complaint is the lift was closed at peak season right by the condo so they kind of fooled us with that advertisement, but that’s probably not in their control. But the ski in path was great!! Great views! Overall a great place to stay!

Thanks for staying with us and sharing your experience. We're glad you enjoyed our vacation rental at the Bronze Tree condominiums. It's one of Steamboat's only properties with an indoor pool. Ever since the Christie Express 6-passenger lift opened a few years ago, the resort typically only operates the slower Christie 3 lift as a backup lift. While the newer, faster lift is slightly downhill from the older one, it gets skiers and riders to the top of Christie Peak much faster. We look forward to hosting you again in Steamboat Springs.

Clean!

Place is clean but dated, especially compared to other units in the Bronzetree complex. The walk to ski is longer than 50 yards - I'd say 150 yards is more like it although coming back you can ski almost up to the back door. One other nit-picking item: all the Bronzetree units are managed by a property management company that really wants to upsell you on services. Want to just arrive in Steamboat and go directly to your unit? Nope. Need to go to a separate address and check-in, which really means listen to their 10min pitch of other services. Only then can you collect your key which you've already paid for. Then, expect another few emails and texts while you're there for more upsell touchpoints. Not the end of the world and certainly not a deal-breaker, but it can be slightly annoying.

Thanks for booking with Mountain Resorts and staying at Bronze Tree. We do require in-person check-in as part of guest services. This is also a component of the asset management and security service we provide to our homeowners. We take this in-person opportunity to not only verify the identity of the renter, but to provide helpful information about the area. This winter, services from restaurants to rental shops have all been adapted as a result of public health orders, and our guest services team does their very best to provide relevant, local information to everyone we host. We also reach out to guests after their arrival to see if anything needs our attention. Our goal is to address any unexpected issues early in your stay so you can make the most of your vacation time in Steamboat. We're sorry if this came across as a "sales pitch", as the intent is to provide our guests with authentic, exceptional, and local service.
