If you want unspoilt and relaxed, but with a hint of chic, then that’s Nevis. Amazing Grace provides a romantic setting, in over an acre of grounds and with a 50 foot lap pool.

The house is situated in an exclusive neighbourhood, privately located within its own large garden and grounds. It consists of two buildings based on Classic West Indian architecture, separated by the swimming pool and a Venetian style bridge. The main house is stylishly and tastefully furnished, with a mixture of antique and modern furniture. It comes with all the modern conveniences you could want.

Amazing Grace has recently been upgraded by its owners to include new furnishings and amenities for a perfect holiday.

It is situated next to the Botanical Gardens on the historic Montpelier Estate, where Admiral Lord Nelson married his sweetheart Fannie Nisbett, and is within easy walking distance of the Montpelier Plantation Inn. It is located less than 15 minutes from Charlestown, the golden sands of Pinneys Beach, and the Four Seasons Championship Golf Course. Nevis is not short of things to do including water sports based at the Oualie Beach Hotel and horse riding from The Hermitage. There are also a range of local restaurants, Plantation Inns and beach bars, each with its own character and specialities in the form of rum punch and seafood and other dishes. They include Nesbitts, Hermitage and Golden Rock Plantation Inns, Double Douce, Sunshines, Chevy’s and Lime.

This artist designed house has been a favourite of visitors for many years, with its open aspect design – where you feel you are living outside – spacious terraces, and beautifully maintained gardens with palm trees and a range of other tropical trees and plants. Set on a gently sloping site 600 feet above sea level, there are spectacular sunsets and fabulous views of Mount Nevis, the Caribbean sea and neighbouring St Kitts. The gentle breeze means that the house is always comfortable to live in, whatever the time of year. It has everything for a relaxing, get away from it all, holiday.

The light and airy main house has Mexican tiles throughout . It has a master bedroom with metal frame bed with mosquito net based on the original Montpelier House design – shutters open to stunning views of the ocean, a single study bedroom and a bathroom. The large living room is well equipped with TV, DVD, music system with ipod connection and wi-fi. It has antiques, comfortable sofas and new soft furnishings. Two sets of double French doors open onto the verandahs and pool to give a wonderful sense of openness and space. The well equipped kitchen has French doors also opening up to the verandah on two sides where there are comfortable chairs, loungers, a gas BBQ and a choice of areas for al fresco dining.

The guest cottage has a spacious double bedroom with metal four poster bed and mosquito nets with ensuite bathroom, kitchenette and private terrace area.

There is an attractive gazebo in the grounds providing an alternative and peaceful shaded eating and sitting area.

Additional services include:

• A house manager to welcome you and guide you as to what to do and where to go

Nearby in Gingerland is the Best Buy Supermarket which is open seven days a week and has fresh neat and cheese counters. Other supermarkets are ten minutes in Charlestown.
