Paradise Sound is a family-friendly, semi-soundfront home, located in Corolla's luxurious community of Monteray Shores. This home offers limited sound views from the top level deck, and nearby beach accesses will lead you to un-crowded Corolla beaches with lifeguards.

The whole family will be entertained with the private 25x12 pool, hot tub, and game room with a Foosball table, as well as access to all the Monteray Shores amenities, including a recreation room, a pool, tennis, children's playground, boat launch, and a lovely dock perfect for taking photos at sunset. The community sound access is perfect for windsurfers. If you can’t travel with your equipment, don’t worry! The community of Monteray Shores rents windsurfing equipment.

For your convenience, sheets and towels are provided.

Paradise Sound includes a credit for $315 in beach gear rentals from our partners at VayK Life. Stay between April 3rd and October 18th, 2026 (7-night minimum), and use your beach gear credit for items such as bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, paddleboards, and more!

Layout:

Lower Level: Game room with foosball, wet bar, refrigerator and microwave, bedroom with two bunk beds, bedroom with two twin beds, full hall bath, laundry closet.

Mid Level: 2 queen bedrooms with a connecting Jack and Jill bath, queen bedroom, full bath.

Top Level: Queen en suite with a whirlpool tub, kitchen, dining area, living area with fireplace, half bath, and a loft.

Unfortunately, our experience at this property was very disappointing from the moment we arrived. After driving 8 hours with our family, we walked into a home that was clearly not properly cleaned or inspected before check-in. The bathrooms were dirty, there were opened/used toiletries left behind, beds and common areas were not in acceptable condition, and we spent over an hour cleaning ourselves instead of starting our vacation.The pool area also did not appear ready upon arrival, and we personally had to clean the filter and remove debris ourselves. While management continued to insist everything had been serviced, the condition we received the property in did not reflect the standard expected for a rental at this price point.To be fair, the management company was responsive in communication and ultimately refunded the cleaning fee. However, we do not feel the overall experience and inconvenience were properly acknowledged.I am sharing this review so future guests can make an informed decision. We documented the condition of the property with photos and videos immediately upon arrival.

We appreciate your feedback and sincerely apologize for the cleaning issues you experienced upon check-in. We understand this was frustrating, and it falls short of the standard we work hard to provide for our guests. Our housekeeping team returned to the property to address the issues, and we appreciate the opportunity to correct them. We also refunded the cleaning fee as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience. Regarding the pool, the vendor cleaned and serviced it on your arrival day and documented its condition. The pool's chemical levels were balanced; however, due to nearby trees, debris can occasionally accumulate between service visits. After being notified, the pool vendor returned as soon as possible and confirmed the pool was clean and safe to use. Although our team was able to respond to your concerns, we regret that your stay fell short of expectations. Your comments were shared with the appropriate departments as we continually work to improve our guest experience.
