Our location is located in the heart of New England’s most picturesque region with access to the ocean in your front yard. New Harbor (Chamberlain / Bristol) in Mid-Coast Maine includes all the essentials to delight the senses: the smell of fresh ocean air, the sounds of crashing waves and lobster boats, the taste of fresh seafood and local produce. Whether you are visiting Maine for the spring flowers, antiquing in the summer or the beautiful foliage in the fall... this area never disappoints.

The rocky coast of Muscongus Bay is right off your deck at this lovely 1898 Long Cove Point seaside cottage in Chamberlain, Maine. While here, enjoy the peaceful and relaxing deck for reading, cocktails or simply day dreaming. Also enjoy the lovely sunrises and sunsets that can be viewed from the large porch overlooking the Bay.

The cottage itself is unique and in the classic Maine style built in the 1890's with exposed wood and pine floors. The main floor consists of a living room with large picture windows facing the ocean, with a wood stove fireplace to gather around at night. The dining room features a six-seat dining table with an ocean view, while the fully equipped kitchen with a built in butcher block and includes everything necessary to whip up a culinary masterpiece or a simple grilled cheese sandwich with ease...food processors, blender, ice cream machine, pots and pans...all available to those that would like to use them! (This cottage was previously owned by a well renowned New York French Chef who entertained the likes of Julia Child and other notable chefs, artists and dignitaries at Finestere over the past 50 years).

At night, you have two bedrooms upstairs and a new half bath. The master has a new king size mattress while the other bedroom has two new Posturepedic twin mattresses that can be joined to make one very comfortable king, both rooms have multiple windows overlooking the ocean. There is also a bedroom with flat screen TV located on the main floor for those finding it hard to climb stairs. The living room also has a pullout couch and futon.
