Amazing home full of sunlight, with incredible views! Walk to Robinson’s Wharf for dinner. Close to Boothbay Harbor for shopping and restaurants. The house works well for family gatherings. Beautiful and relaxing, we didn’t want to leave.

The house was perfect for our girls weekend. It was beautiful, clean, with big windows and a great view. We loved spending each late afternoon enjoying a glass of wine on the deck. We were close to everything we wanted to do. The house was wonderful. I would highly recommended it!

The house was beautiful. The location was perfect as a homebase. The house is next to a restaurant and you can watch the boating activity and boats coming in and going out. Southport General Store is just a few miles away. Boothbay is 10 minutes and has everything you could need and the quintessential Maine town. I traveled with my husband and adult daughter. Could have comfortably fit a couple more people. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Views stunning!! We rented a boat for two days and the dock was perfect. A couple things to note may not be able to have an outdoor fire if it's dry due to no burn laws. Also, the house does not have AC on the 1st floor only AC units in the upstairs bedrooms. It was in the 70s while we were there but the house does warm up quick since it does not have curtains in the main area. The sliding deck doors and windows offer a very nice cross breeze. Host Kim was nice and responsive. Any concerns were addressed quickly. I would recommend and stay again. Thank you for sharing your home with us. The Schlachters and Zalesaks.

We rented both the house and the cottage for our group of nine adults. The house was fabulous! My family thought I was a genius for finding it. Check-in was a breeze. The house was very clean. We cooked most of our meals at the house. The kitchen was well equipped to do so and we had every kind of seafood possible in Maine. The weather was quite warm so we made use of the bedroom air conditioners some nights. My cousin was able to sail over from Georgetown several times and dock at the house. Fabulous!We hope to rent this property again next year.

This is our second time staying at this Absolutely Perfect!This waterfront home in Southport is pure perfection—spotless, beautifully maintained, and stocked with everything you need. The panoramic harbor views, morning seagulls, church bells, and passing boats made every moment magical. We can’t wait to return!

Absolutely FABULOUS house and location! We LOVED our stay. The house is beautiful with large windows throughout the main floor that have gorgeous views of the water. We rented a boat and kept it at the dock off the house - that was fun! We had a great time exploring the area by boat. The hosts do a great job of making guests comfortable - the check-in and check-out process is clear and easy. Plenty of bathroom towels and toilet paper are provided. We loved the BBQ on the deck. Lots of great restaurants are nearby. It's just an all around great house, and great location :)

Stunning views

We enjoyed a family vacation in this beautiful property. The deck overlooking the bay was perfect and we spent the morning having coffee there and adult beverages in the evening. The location is perfect to get into Boothbay, just a short drive, and there is a restaurant that we walked to right next door. Kim was a very good contact and responded quickly and was very helpful. Highly recommend.

Great House and Great Location

Beautiful views and great house. The outdoor area is awesome and has an awesome view of the marina in the backyard along with a private dock. My boys fished and fished there but never caught anything, must have been the time of year. Less than 5 minute drive into boothbay as well plus a restaurant right next door. Loved staying here!

Perfect for My Dad's 80th!

Perfect for 8 adults. Highly recommend getting steamed or live lobsters from Atlantic Edge and bringing them back to the house. Had a great time putting together puzzles, playing games, visiting, and shopping.

Nice getaway place

The house is great for a family getaway, but it wasn’t perfect for us as four couples, since one bedroom had two twin beds and the beds and pillows were quite soft. Despite that, we had a wonderful stay and wouldn't let those minor issues overshadow our experience.

Perfect Getaway

We loved everything about this house and it was just perfect for all of us. We had a range of ages from a toddler to grandparents and everyone had a great time. Kim is extremely detail oriented as she made sure we had child friendly items in the house including a highchair. She responded back to any questions I had in a timely manner. Check in and check out process was really seamless. We would love to stay here again!

Our annual vacation to Maine with our second family

Doing this really isn't my thing..so i would rather not . My preference would be to talk to the owners of the establishment one on one. We had a nice vacation.

Intergenerational Trip

This home was pretty much as shown in the listing. The first level bed/bath were ideal for the grandparents. Three upstairs bedrooms along with the separate cottage on the property gave us plenty of room for a large family gathering. We were familiar with the area, so we knew (and appreciated) the hustle and bustle of the busy cove. Home owner was easily accessible and answered communications quickly. Thanks for a great week!

Wonderful House with Amazing Water Views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming house in Southport. The manager was terrific to work with and responded quickly to any inquiries we had. You are steps away from a delightful restaurant and the house is situated so you have wonderful views from all the rooms. The parking is a tiny challenge because of the ongoing work on the bridge next door but once we figured out a plan, it became quite easy. I would highly recommend this house to anyone craving a bucolic Maine rental with water views.

Big disappointment

The pictures of the property are so much better than what was actually inside the house. It is much older and is run down. There is no air-conditioning except for three window units that were installed after our arrival, and one of them was not working properly. There was no AC for the master bedroom. The one upstairs bedroom has no door. To access the bathroom, they had to go down their steps then up another staircase. The furniture in the living room needs cleaned or replaced. The dishwasher did not work properly. I was shocked by the reviews that people gave this place. The window coverings were abysmal. They did not keep out any sun light so everyone was awake by 5 AM. There was an uncovered skylight in the bedroom without a door. The lighting and mirrors in the master bath were awful. The window side had to be closed the entire time because it was street view. The mattresses were awful; they all need replaced as does the bedding. The hostess seemed quite nice, but the property needs many more amenities than what it had. We used to own a beach house in South Carolina that would put this property to shame. Everything was top notch at our property, and I guess I expected the same at this property. While we enjoyed Maine, I would not stay here again. The entire family was sorely disappointed.

Special Place!

Our second stay at this lovely waterfront house, and we hope to return soon! 2 adults and 2 teens for a week of nearly perfect blue skies and Maine summer weather. The home is comfortable and roomy with spectacular views of the water...it's basically in the water at high tide. Kim was just as super responsive and helpful on our couple small requests as she was the last time. We kept a 28 foot boat at the large dock, well protected in the cove so no need to move the boat to a mooring at night (unlike many other places in town with docks exposed to wind and waves). Bridge construction was ongoing but did not bother us. Thanks for having us Kim!
