Lakeside Lodge

We are grateful to share our Lakeside Lodge with you! The lodge is situated on 100 acres overlooking our humble, but beautiful lake.

Vacationing at Camp Maple Lake is a unique opportunity to explore the grounds of a property which used to be home to a summer wilderness camp, without all the campers & counselors. Canoe on the lake, go fishing, or sit on the lake side deck with your cup of coffee & watch the sunrise. And don't forget to bring firewood and smores for your campfire.

FYI: To stay true to its natural setting, the lodge does not have a televison. We do have wifi so feel free to bring your laptop.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in Forksville! The host was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and were very accommodating throughout our stay.The cabin itself was spotless and exceptionally well cared for. Everything was clean, organized, and ready for us when we arrived, which made it feel comfortable right away.The peaceful setting was exactly what we were looking for, and it was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the area. We truly appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable cabin with an outstanding host!

We have a large group and this place allowed us all the room we needed! The amazing view, Fishing, kayaking, and a place to sit around the campfire made for a wonderful trip!’ We can’t wait to come back!!

Hi there. We're so glad you're here exploring our lakeside lodge. Our names are Mike & Lori Beinlich. We live at the farm next door to Camp Maple Lake. Our 3 young adult daughters and their families enjoy visiting the farm & camp frequently.

We purchased the property in 2013 and operated it as a family business, hosting summer sports camps for 7 years. It was a great space for campers. For the past several years, we have made some big changes and are enjoying the quieter season of renting out the property to families.

The lodge was built in the early 1970 and was the original space where the owners stayed while summer camps were in full swing. Although, it is not a new house, it has the charm of quieter days in a wilderness setting. It is made of cedar wood and is a cozy and comfortable living space overlooking the lake. Because of the wilderness surroundings, there’s an abundance of wildlife. Occasionally little critters, such as mice may find their way inside. We will do our best to prevent this. The full basement, with a ping pong table and fireplace is a great hang out room. But the double decks have the prize views!

Our property is unique to our area. You will have use of our kayaks and canoes to enjoy the lake.... It is very secluded. You may see a neighbor or two fishing but most of the time the lake will be yours. Plenty of room to explore, boat, take walks, make campfires, and relax.
