When I was researching a place to plan my elopement, I came across the most beautiful property that had a unique rustic cabin, EXACTLY what we had wanted. When I contacted Lynn, she was nothing short of amazing! We live in south Georgia and knew we wouldn’t be able to visit the venue before the elopement. Lynn helped me through the whole process (flowers, cake, picture locations, etc) and I give her all of the credit of how smooth and perfect our big day went! When my fiancé and I arrived, we were in awe of how perfect it truly was. Lynn and Jimmy greeted us with open arms and made us feel right at home! We enjoyed the night before our wedding on the back deck listening to the waterfall right out of the cabin door! The next morning, we explored and hiked to Foster Falls (less than 2 miles from the property) and finished by eating a delicious breakfast at T’s Diner! When we returned, Lynn and Jimmy spent the afternoon helping us get all of our ducks in a row for the ceremony. Wes and I got ready in the rustic cabin, and at 4:00 we were married on top of the Tennessee mountaintop at Hemlock Falls LLC, with Jimmy and Lynn in attendance of course :) I couldn’t have imagined that moment without them! I thank God I came across Hemlock Falls LLC and crossed path with the 2 most amazing people, Jimmy and Lynn Shelton! I look forward to MANY a more trips to Hemlock Falls! You can’t beat this place, this scenery, and these hosts!!! ♥️♥️♥️
I will begin by saying that "LOVE" never looked so good on any couple that I have seen! It is for sure a love that will last a lifetime. Ashlyn was a joy to work with from the first phone call and when Wes arrived he was just precious! We could not have been more proud if they were our own children. We were so excited to be included in this union. They treated us like part of the family and we can't wait to make everything special for their 1st anniversary!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was decorated beautifully & very comfortable, however, the outdoors were majestic. We loved playing in the creek and waterfall ADJACENT to the cabin, taking pics at the scenic bluff, and hiking to the much larger waterfall on the other side of the property (entrance to actual hike 1/4 mile down the road, but top of waterfall can be seen from property if you're careful). Watching the rain from the covered porch was relaxing. Would be fantastic for a romantic getaway, but we also loved with our family of 4 (adult children are 23 & 19). Highly recommend!
What a wonderful family! We loved having your sweet family at Hemlock Falls! So glad you were able to get in a mini vacation with your children. They are so delightful and I am sure they will go far in their upcoming careers. We are looking forward to the pics that you took. They were Awesome! Please come visit us again!
Special thanks to your husband for the sod advice!

I cannot say enough good things about this property! The owners have taken such great care to make sure that every single detail has been covered. The cabin is equipped with absolutely everything you would need and is simply beautiful....And that view from the bluff! Wow! They have created the ultimate relaxing atmosphere, and I cannot wait to return. I came back home from my weekend here feeling refreshed and recharged. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property and for being so accommodating and helpful! The owners are a true joy to work with.Southern hospitality at its very finest. Thank you!!!

Beautiful, romantic getaway.
The old rustic cabin has been updated with beautiful decorations, a great shower that has both a standard head and a rain head that showers straight down over your head. Antique furniture, with classic porcelain figurines adorn the cabin. Outside is a large patio overlooking the valley below with a fire pit. A short walk to a bluff that gives even more spectacular vistas of the valley below with chairs, and another fire pit. Several waterfalls in the area, with one right next to the cabin. You can hear the water falling a bit from inside the cabin, but of course clearly as you step out the door. It’s absolutely beautiful. You’re alone, as there are no neighbors, yet only minutes to the first town, Tracy, that has a great bakery with sandwiches. The bakery dates back to 1902. An incredible place to stay.
Thank you Steve for the the wonderful review! We are so happy that you and your sweet wife chose Hemlock Falls for your special anniversary! We look forward to having you guys back for a visit!

This is an incredible property, Cabin, with even more incredible hosts
My wife and I spent our 20th year anniversary at Hemlock Falls. Everything about our trip was great except that it went way too fast. This property would be an excellent choice for any person, family or couple. The cabin has so much character and the property could not be located any better. It is located close enough to Chattanooga and Tracy City, but far enough to really get away. The two waterfalls on the property are so different and so beautiful. The hosts truly sum up what I have always heard about southern hospitality, and it is not just for show. They are really great people. You will not regret your time spent here. I have now started to play the lottery just so I can make Jimmy and Lynn an offer they may not be able to refuse :). We will be back to visit again.
Dear Mat & Holly,
We can't thank you enough for the kind words and we love having good people like you at our cabin. We look forward to having you back soon!! We will just move you down here!
