West 3224 is a Studio and has a beautiful view of the valley from this 2nd floor. Sliding glass doors from the living space offer access to the deck, as well as offering floor to ceiling windows for great natural light. This studio has been nicely updated with a modern flare, darker tones with accents from lighting pendants throughout. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and dark cabinetry, slate flooring with glass pendant lighting above the kitchen bar. The bathroom has also been remodeled with granite counter tops, glass tile and brush nickel fixtures. Perfect little find close to the base area!

Whether you're enjoying The West as a winter or summer getaway, a short stroll down the West-to-Village access path leads you directly to the gondola and Christie Express lift, Steamboat Snow School, Kids Vacation Center, and the shops and restaurants at the Steamboat base area. Complimentary on-call shuttle service is provided by Mountain Resorts during the winter months for easy access to the grocery store and downtown Steamboat Springs.

During summer, enjoy scenic views from the pool and outdoor grill area, or stroll to the Steamboat Ski Area promenade, where you can cool your feet in the refreshing Rocky Mountain stream that flows through the base area. Summer activities and events such as free concerts and art exhibits further enhance Steamboat's splendid summertime surroundings.

Just wish the walkway to ski area was better maintained. Was VERY ICY when I was there, but so were all the sidewalks in the mountain/condo area. Guess you are not meant to walk there.Bizarre, since so many things are in walking distance. ???

We loved everything about our stay except the wifi in the building isn't fast enough or stable enough if you plan to work and play your entire week. I had to go to Verizon and purchase a jet pack wifi device. Other than the wife, the unit was cozy, clean and comfortable. Everything was as described.

A Ski Vacation ‘Gem’

This is a great condo true to the pictures shown. The place was clean, modern, and located in a perfect spot just across the street from Gondola Square. Kitchen has essentials, cookware, utensils, dishes, for your stay. Bathroom is equipped with towels and toiletries. Condo location is an easy walk to the gondola and the resort shuttle is available to take you home after a day on the slopes or to take you to local shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend this unit for a couple or solo traveler.

We loved our stay here. The valley views were amazing. Super short walk on the sunny days or most of the time a shuttle sitting and waiting right outside the door. Checkin was painless. Room was comfortable and clean. Also, we rode the day of checkout and were able to shower and change in the main building of the complex before heading out which was very helpful.

Always (3 Times) in 3224 a good experience. Front desk more than helpful. Afternoon cookies a delight since they do not cost (mountain price $3.95). And for the less positive and picky: Always minor maintenance issues - burned out light bulbs, no TV operating instructions with two remotes? , but I’m tech challenged. Explore Steamboat with TV channels not in apt. I will continue to stay here, the walk to gondola and shuttle are timely and a easy.

Great Ground level Studio

The West was perfectly located for easy walking or quick shuttle access to the Gondola area as well as on call Shuttle mid day and evenings. The ground level studio with Murphy bed and Hide a Bed was tastefully furnished as was the kitchen well equipped. Service by the front desk was great considering they had taken over management only days before. They were welcoming in suggestions for the complex and unit information as well as rapid fix for a minor shower problem. The SST transit point is also within a quick walk for Downtown access if the Mountain's restaurants and bar and grill locations are not enough for the dinner and drinking crowd.
