Welcome to Boondock’s, our stunningly remodeled home, conveniently located in Gun Barrel City, on the open water of Cedar Creek Lake. With an open and inviting floor plan, the lake outside draws your attention from every corner of the open concept living area. The kitchen is modern and full of all the amenities you could ever need during your lakeside getaway.

With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, your guests will have plenty of room to spread out and relax during your stay. With six televisions throughout the house, you won’t even need to fight over what to watch after a day on the lake! And if you must bring work with you during your vacation, the home also features a dedicated office space available for your use.
As beautiful and relaxing as the house is, the true center of the home (and where you will want to spend most of your time) is the expansive covered deck outside! This is truly outdoor living at its finest! Why would you ever come inside? With a large outdoor kitchen, expansive dining table, and a comfortable seating area with outdoor fireplace and big screen television, you will want to spend your days and nights entertaining outside with the lake as a backdrop.
The yard is beautifully maintained and leads down to the private dock and lake front. There is a fire pit that is ideal for gathering and enjoying the sunsets while making smore’s. The dock is available for fishing, swimming and sunbathing with a large sundeck that is another wonderful spot for watching the sunset! Though the dock is not available for guests’ personal watercraft and boats, you are more than welcome to use the kayaks that are on the property and available to you!

This is the best home we’ve stayed at on Cedar Creek! Beautiful view! It had everything we needed and was super clean. Morgan was an amazing host very accommodating and answered all our questions quickly. We can not wait to come back!

Waterfront Rental

Outdoor patio with furniture, TV & grills made it an ideal place to enjoy the outdoors, and the dock provided a great view of the lake. The indoor rooms had plenty of space & rooms to house three families staying for the week.We stayed during the week of the 4th of July holiday and had a great view of all the fireworks shows.

Family long weekenf

All 6 of us loved the house. We played Bingo at the local Bingo Hall one evening and won 300, cooked nice dinners every evening and spent the days playing games on the back porch, swimming in the lake, reading and napping. There was plenty of room for 3 adult couples and LOADS of spices and kitchen equipment. There is also a WalMart 5 minutes away if you forget anything. Our favorite part was watching the sunset after dinner on the double decker boat dock, beautiful!

Getting away for a few days

The property was great just as described, and the kitchen was the best I have ever rented from plenty of everything and everything in its place. It was clean and ready for fun. We had enough room for everyone without being on top of each other. Beds where comfortable the only thing I would say is take the chime down so you can sleep late

Perfect getaway

We absolutely loved our stay, the place was immaculate and had everything you needed. The kitchen was stocked with all types of utensils and pans and plates etc. The patio was perfect for relaxing, very large and full of nice furniture. The dock was excellent for watching the sunset, relaxing fishing and swimming. We spent so much time in the lake. Plenty of beds for all of us and three full bathrooms made it so convenient as we had 9 people. We will definitely be booking again in the future!

The perfect place

6 of us did a girls weekend to shop Canton Trade Days and just kick back, relax and make memories. This house was absolutely perfect. It is 30 minutes from Canton with no traffic on the route. The house is all we wanted and so much more. Never have I been in a rental with this much to offer. From this more than fully stocked kitchen to the surplus of linens and any thing else you can think of. The house is gorgeous and relaxing. The outdoor space is nothing short of perfection. This will without a doubt be my go to place when in the area. Was not disappointed or felt a lack for anything the whole stay. I give it a 20 on a scale of 1-10.

Not one negative thing to say - the property and the house are even better than the photos. Communication was great - neighborhood “not sketchy” whatsoever. The house had every bit of appliances and cooking utensils and spices you could want. The sunsets were amazing. Gated grass area was nearly mowed. Only one thing I’d change in the master bedroom- all the storage was either locked or the drawers were full of extra bedding ect. So I decided to bring in the snack trays to put my clothing on instead. Keeping 2 of the uprights empty w some hangers would have been helpful. But none of this outweighed the amazingness of everything!

Great home for a Lake House getaway!

I highly recommend this home for a family weekend getaway to the lake, We were two families of four with Kids ages 8-12. This home had the perfect layout with a bunk room for the kids and two nice bedrooms for the adults. The home is nicely updated and was probably one of the best equipped Vacation Rental homes we have stayed in. The kitchen had everything you could think of or ever need from appliances, to tableware, to cooking utensils, etc. Plenty of storage for the food we brought and the Trager and Blackstone cooktop out on the patio were awesome! Kids swam right off the dock and there is a stair case to help you get in and out of the lake with ease. The view from the top of the deck was great and we enjoyed hanging out up there and watching 4th of July fireworks. TVs in every room and outside as well. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return.

Cedar Creek heaven

We had the best time at this lake house. The kids adored the bunk room. We brought the video games for when we weren't boating and swimming so it was their kids cave. There was a burn ban so no fire pit available but the kayaks were wonderful. The kids played sports in the huge space out back. The dogs roamed and sniffed the fresh pine tree scented air. We made coffees in the fully equipped kitchen and walked out to the 2nd story deck on boat dock to enjoy them over the water. We made homemade cookies, smash burgers, bucatini with meatballs, and even used the Traeger for pork shoulder that was so devine that I am still enjoying the leftovers as tacos. The outdoor dining and lounging was impeccable. It was paradise 1.5 hours from Dallas. The best way to spend a holiday weekend, Any weekend really. The property managers were also wonderful communicators and brought over wasp spray when we found a nest. Book this house and you won't be disappointed.
