It is a special space filled with color and life, the perfect backdrop to a relaxing and fun filled beach vacation. You are a quick walk to pristine beaches, 1000 acres of hiking and biking trails, and several restaurants and a couple shops.

Beautiful Home, Everything you needed in house. Extra cost Concierge service was very accommodating. This home does not have a house maid. One note to anyone wanting to stay at this beautiful home with the best view in town it comes at a cost....you will need to be physically able to walk up a steep incline for quite a distance to get to this residence. They do not have transportation in town for its a walking town only. We were able to make this trip multiple times but it needs to be noted if your looking to rent this residence. We rented a 4x4 SUV from Vamos for this trip which is highly recommended because the road conditions getting here are rough and you may need to cross rivers as well as you will most definitely want to travel and shuttles or ride shares are expensive due to location. When you arrive you will go to the towns main hotel and they will valet park your vehicle free of charge and take you to the house with luggage on a golf cart and they will pick you up on departure as well. I can not define the beauty of this home enough nor the View. The upstairs AC unit was not efficient enough to keep that area cool was my main gripe. The kitchen is upstairs as well as a big dinning area inside and outside on balcony. This is a quiet town so most everything closes between 8pm - 10pm. They have a Plunge pool on lower deck, this is not a hot tub as stated. The beach is a quick walking distance from any home as well as all the restaurant's in this community.

Simply stunning!

We've stayed in a lot of short-term rentals around the world, and this might be the best of all! When you first enter the home you're struck by the impeccable design. The layout is perfect for a family (we were traveling with two kids and our nanny), and the primary bedroom/bath and indoor/outdoor shower are spectacular. The pool and lower-level sitting area were perfect for getting out of the heat. But the star of the house is the upper level! The views from the living room and upper deck ... WOW! Even better than the pictures! Everyone loved eating dinner and watching the sun set over the Pacific. The kitchen is well-appointed and has everything you need for cooking at home. The Beach Club is just down the hill (the kids loved swimming and watching monkeys in the trees). The beach is just a few steps further (check out nearby Dantita Beach, too!). The house comes with all the beach toys you'll need including boogie boards, snorkeling gear, and more. We loved the community of Las Catalinas and had a lovely time strolling around and trying a few of the restaurants. Communication with the host was outstanding, too. If this place is available, book it!

Las Catalinas is a dream town. It's walkable, with no cars allowed. The beaches are relatively calm and there are so many activities to choose from on any given day. That means one person can be down by the beach, while another hangs at the pool, and another sits at home taking in the views—or you can all go grab delicious food together.
We've explored all over Costa Rica, and were so happy to find Las Catalinas and build our dream home here.

The design of this home is unlike any other, and you can't beat the views!
It all started with the perfect lot in the perfect town. From our balcony, we have views of the entire town, views of the hills, and views of the entire bay. So we designed a home and an experience around that. Like many homes in Las Catalinas, we were inspired by the Mediterranean coast. But we wanted our place to feel fresh and modern—like it pulled from the most hip parts of Italy and Greece. We thought of every detail, from the layout to take advantage of the views, to every last linen and plate in the kitchen.
And almost everything in the home is sourced or even custom made by Costa Rican artists and craftspeople. Our goal was for this home to be a shining example of all the richness to be found in this region, and hope you'll love it.
