Absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway. The home was clean and the beds were very cozy, soft and comfortable. I usually do not enjoy soft beds but this one was just perfect. We enjoyed the pond and did some catch and release very relaxing while enjoying time with their big doggy and watching all the animals enjoy the pond. Peaceful location and we do plan to return at some point. Lord Willing
We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of May and really enjoyed our stay..My son enjoyed fishing in the pond out front and my daughter really enjoyed the dog that roams the property..

Excellent guests left place clean and respected the property as well as other guest
Very nice and clean! We got there first night in the dark and it was hard to find the cabins but that’s definitely the only downside we could find. Would stay again.
The beds are amazing and so comfy!! Everything was so clean and neat and so close to any store or gas station and literally only a very short drive to my mom and dad's house! I will definitely recommend to friends and family!
The cabin was very nice, clean, and in a good, relaxing location. We never saw the owner but the entry code and response information that I received from Jerry was all correct and very helpful. The cabin was beautiful and had everything needed for a comfortable home away from home feeling. Great place for vacation, or just a short get away to relax. We loved our time there and hope to return next year.
Highly recommend this place.
Beautiful and cozy!! Cabin was very clean. Because we where there for 6 nights, it was very convenient to have a washer and dryer. We hope to come again! Thank you.
You've got a great place there. The location was perfect, we were visiting family in Bruceton. I liked the peace, quiet and darkness. We live in the woods in Ohio and the nights are very dark, great sleeping, your place was just like home. The beds were very comfortable, plenty of hot water and well equipped. We'll book again next time we're in town. Thanks Jerry.

Steps
The place is nice, everything on the tv you had to pay extra for. We weren’t there to watch tv so that’s ok. We had to drive to do our hiking, thought it was right there on site. The stairs to get to upstairs bedroom were a little treacherous, not suitable for older folks.
Property bed situation not accurate. There are 2 queen beds up stairs. No full size bed. Efficiency kitchen has everything you need. Stairs are difficult for older adults and anyone with mobility issues...like a bad knee. Great gas grills. Comfortable living room sofas. Beds upstairs are comfortable and soft. We were never given a key or any way to lock the doors when leaving the cabin. Or even lock up at night. I would stay again.
Perfectly distanced away from everything. Walmart is only about 7 miles away, and theres some nice family restaurants up the road. Cabin was clean and easy to access, the water was hot, the ac and heat worked. We couldnt get the grill to work but that may have been operator error. Several of the lights in the cabin were burned out and the one lamp that did work didn’t light the living room up that much. Beds were COMFY, and the kitchen was stocked with dishes and pans for cooking. We didn’t walk around the property much, but the pond is pretty and you can hear the geese from the cabin. Overall, it was a nice stay and if I decided to return to the lake, i’d consider staying here again.
The cabin was quaint and cute, right off birdsong road. Close to town and close to birdsong marina. The only suggestion I would have is the renter may want to add some disposable soap, shampoo, conditioner for guests. I have many times walked off and forgotten something but those are the main items. Thank you for a great stay.
We had a contactless arrival. First time I've ever done this so I contacted the owner to be sure. He texted back saying he sent me instructions and told me the code to get in again. I informed him I was already in and was just making sure I didn't need to do anything else. About 10 minutes later I had to text him again about a coffee maker. When I booked it said a coffee maker was in the cottage but one could not be found. I never heard back from him. Didn't want to read anything into the text but it was almost like I was bothering him. Anyhow, we did not have any other issues with our stay. Cute cottage and lots of space for the two of us.
