Enjoyed the stay. The host did great job preparing us for what to expect weather-wise. Experienced worst snow storm in 3 years on the front end of our stay, but everything worked out on the second day and we were able to enjoy the rest of the trip.

He was super attentive to make sure we could get in the house! He also had a sled for the kids and a charger for our car in the garage. The location was amazing too.

Perfect Tahoe Location

We absolutely loved staying here with a couple close friends and our little ones! The house was perfect for kids with the game and bunk room downstairs and being able to ski out to the slopes was perfect. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful cabin, with incredible views, and perfect location to the slopes. We loved having the game room for the kids to play in so the parents could enjoy some quiet time, we both had our own floor. We had 3 families with small children and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kids loved having a sleep over every night in the bunk room. The owner was very responsive with messages and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this cabin and look forward to staying here again.

Clean and Spacious

We loved our stay at Omar’s place. Omar was a great host, communicated from start, during and end. The place was exactly as it was described. The place was spacious for our large family.

Another Great Stay Here

This is our second time renting this home and we love it. Omar is a very responsive and helpful host. We had two families (7 kids) and there is lots to do in the home, and it's just steps away from the slopes. We'll rent again!

Perfect place for a get together

This place was great for our familys to get together for skiing and sledding. The house was very clean and spacious and the views were beautiful. Definitely not a ski in and ski out property though. Especially with children. Besides that, it was perfect for our snow trip.

Very large, well-appointed house in Tahoe Donner with a game room allowing kids to entertain themselves. We recommend this property. Communication was continuous and complete.

Property is beautiful. First kitchen to have everything I needed in a holiday rental. Owner was responsive and helpful with minor issues we encountered. Couldn’t ask for more.

Family vacation

Omar's Tahoe home was perfect for our family vacation! We had 3 families of 4 people each and the house fit us perfectly. The game room was enjoyed my the kids, and the adults too! My new favorite home away from home

I don’t know where to begin. The house was beautiful and clean and just felt like home the moment we walked in. Omar was an amazing host, so easy to communicate with. They made sure the house had everything we needed to have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We hope to stay there again one day soon.! Thank you Omar for a great experience!

The BEST Truckee Home for families!

We had a perfect stay at Omar's home in Truckee. The home was perfect for our extended family and was even better than described. The home is sooooooo clean! Omar was incredibly responsive and helpful. There was plenty of private space, but an equally wonderful amount of space for us to gather as a family. The area is quiet and lovely. There were even a few deer finding shelter under the back deck when we were there! This is by the far the nicest VRBO we have stayed in. Absolutely 10 out of 10!

Great house, great location

This was really a great house with plenty of room for two families of four (four kids 6 to 10) and grandma and grandpa to enjoy. Access was simple by having the garage door opener on an app, it was all we used to access the house our entire stay. One day we got rained in, but there were plenty of games, reading material (all nicely categorized) and TV options to keep our entire group entertained. The next day it dumped snow and there was plenty of space outdoors to enjoy it. We're a family of snowboarders, so we couldn't exactly ride out the back door, but the nearest run was less then a five minute walk on packed snow from the rear deck. The house has plenty of room for large groups to stretch out and the views were awesome. We did have a couple of small issues, but the host/owner was always responsive and none of it really negatively impacted our stay. As others have mentioned, you'll need to bring all of your cooking supplies like oil, syrup, salt/pepper and orther spices, but there are plenty of open drawers and cabinets to store your stuff in. There was also plenty of pots/pans/plates/cups/cooking utensils (bring your own wine glasses).

Great Ski-in Ski-out Tahoe Donner House

Great place for a couple of families to ski Tahoe Donner! Awesome house, plenty of space, clean, warm, and amazing views across the valley to Mt Rose from the kitchen! Ski-in-ski-out, except not for new or very young skiers. My 3 year old could not ski-in/out without significant help from me, especially with 8-12" of new snow, and on the way in. My 6year old was able to do it, but not without considerable effort on the way in during a powder day. That being said, we'd definitely stay again!

Backcountry ski group

We had a excellent stay at the Cabin, lots of space for everyone to spread out and beautiful spot. One shower issue which was quickly remedied. Can’t wait to go back and stay again

Stands Out for All the Right Reasons

We had 8 people looking for comfortable, ski in/ski out lodging. This place was perfect. It is large, bright, well-located, comfortable, and immaculately clean. You can walk outside, strap on skis and in a minute you are on one of Tahoe Donner's easy (green) slopes. The kitchen has all the cookware and table setting you will need (but bring everything you will need to cook with, including salt, pepper, spices and oil). There are lots of chairs, beds, sofas, televisions, bathrooms, towels - even shelves full of a wide range of interesting books, all organized by subject matter. You feel like you are stepping into someone's home, but without the clutter and idiosyncrasies that sometimes come along. The owner was very responsive, even texting us ahead of our check-in time to let us know the place was available early. We didn't need additional help, but he seemed like he would have been very responsive had it been otherwise. Thank you for making our weekend a good one.

Great stay

House is great, better than portrayed in the pictures. Plenty of space. A library of books and DVDs for kids/adults. Toys for kids of all ages, pool table, foosball, Xbox. Very quiet. Can ski in/out to Tahoe Donner which is fantastic. Omar, the owner, is very friendly and communicative.

A Wonderful Stay

Our family and friends stayed in this property for a week during the summer. There were eight adults, two children, and one toddler. There was plenty of room to spread out during the day due to a large upstairs family room and a large downstairs game room. The two children loved sleeping in the bunk bed room downstairs and the adults slept comfortably in the three bedrooms on the main floor and the loft room. For those enjoying outdoor activities the cabin is conveniently located within walking and biking distance to miles of beautiful trails. It is also a short distance drive to Donner Lake. The property is well equipped with toys for children, books, a pool table, and multiple televisions. We are hoping we can spend another vacation in this beautiful house and area!
