Quiet Cove Lakehouse - Wonderful covered deck, Ideal location & Pet friendly!

Remodeled Lakehouse in the heart of Lake of the Ozarks. Less than 5 mins from the new Grand Glaize amusement park opening in 2026/27 and quick access to all shopping, restaurant & bars and grocery stores by automobile.
- 9 mins to Hyvee Grocery Store, Starbucks, Walgreens or Chic-Fil-A (opening soon)
- 8 mins to Walmart Supercenter
- 5-7 minutes to Wobbly Boots BBQ, Pappo's Pizza, Randy's Frozen Custard, 1932 Reserve Restaurant (All highly recommended!)
- Perfect location by water (19mm) to get to all the action on the Lake! Very family oriented area with longtime owners occupying adjacent properties.

Large covered deck lakeside w/gas gril, perfect for lounging, morning coffees and taking in sunsets. Access to the large community dock with shaded and sunning options. The house and dock are located deep in our cove well off the main channel. Very little boat traffic in our spot with very quiet water always - if you love being in the water you'll absolutely adore our location.

Our Lakehouse has 3B/2Ba. Upper level is Master Br, Kitchen, Dining, Full Bath and family room with 50" Roku tv. Sofa pulls out into a full size bed. Sliding doors lead you to our spacious covered deck and grill area. Lower level is family room with sectional that pulls out to full size bed, Bedroom 2 & 3, Full bath and washer/dryer.

Use of 10x24' slip is included with rental at no extra charge. We have an onsite launch ramp that works well for smaller vessels or pwc's. Many guests launch at PB2 which is 5 mins away by land and 10-15 mins by water.

Well behaved pets are welcome and an add'l cleaning fee applies. Owner has owned at the Lake for 25 years and is super responsive.

It had everything we needed and was very convenient location for the shootout. Parking in this neighborhood is very tight for trucks but fine for three normal cars/suv. We were told by park attendant at public boat launch that a trailer can be parked for 48 hours IF it is attached to a truck. We left trailer at top of hill next to power pole. Neighbor said it was OK. It was still there 3 days later!

- Gas grill needs a deep clean, very greasy and grimy. Also need a new grill brush the one there was wore out and very small. - Cleaning people need to look up, ceiling fans were filthy, cob webs need cleaned up. - we had to wash all the dishes before using, very dirty. The dishwasher door has to be closed real hard, they may have thought it ran and didn’t. - Need new toaster, we cleaned it but it smelled like it was burning when using. - Need more pot holders. - Bathroom sink upstairs needs a new screen on the faucet, I cleaned it but was still running very slow. - Mattress's not the best…- Nick was awesome, answered all our questions in a timely manner. - Overall, the house fit our needs, great time!

Great property

We had 9 people in town for a youth fishing tournament. Judy and Nick were very quick to respond to any questions or needs. The place was exactly as pictured! We had a wonderful time and would definitely book again!

Close to the water

This property is close to the water with a nice view. Parking is tight. We had two trucks and a bass boat and were able to make it work. House was very clean and fresh. The deck was a great place to hang out on a spring evening.

Just what we needed!

We used this property as an overflow for our group. It was just what we needed. It was a 3-minute walk to our main property. It was perfect for the young adults in our group to have their own beds and quiet place to sleep each night. Any questions/concerns were responded to immediately. We would definitely stay here again. Was in town for Bikefest. Doesn't have good parking for motorcycles. Parking is gravel. It was packed down and worked. Just not what I was expecting.

It is listed as a2 bathroom. We had 8 adults , and 2 children trying to share 1 bathroom. The second bathroom only has a toilet. No light, no shower, no sink, no door. It sits in the family room and could not be used because there is no door. We were offered to walk to a house next door to use the shower. We passed on other houses to pick this one for the fact it had 2 bathrooms..There were 5 dogs that surrounded the entry door. They barked, snapped and tried to attack us as we tried to go outside. The neighbor who owns the dogs was very rude and said some negative things to my family but never called good dogs back. My daughter was trying to walk in with her new born son and several of these dogs ran around her making her fall with her infant of 6 weeks in hand. The property is very nice, the home was nice and clean. The owner was very nice as well and let us check in early. If you are renting this place and have any pets please be warned of the dogs that roam free.. and that it only has 1 bathroom.

Family had a great time during this trip, loved being out on the balcony for all the meals, then straight to the dock to jump into the lake. Lots of geese and ducks the kids loved to feed(a few ate out of their hands). My husband and I got to know a few of the other owners/guests; everyone was friendly at that cove and didn’t seem to mind our noise level. Communication with the host was great, answered whatever questions/concerns came up very timely. Definitely already planning another stay.We brought our boat, and did use the dock slip; there wasn’t parking for the boat trailer on the property, however there was an easy solution, after we talked to Nick, he told there was a spot just walking distance away. Overall we had an amazing time.

Great Place to Stay

My husband and I decided on a last minute trip with our kids and this house was the perfect size! The check in process was effortless! Nick and Judy were very attentive to anything we needed help with. My favorite part of the house was sitting in the back porch at night! I would also agree with other reviews that the neighborhood was peaceful. I would recommend this house!

Easy Access

The house was comfortable with a very well stocked kitchen. We were there for Thanksgiving so having a well appointed kitchen was important. Judy bent over backwards to make sure we had what we needed including bringing us her own coffee pot and coffee to use while she ran to the store to buy a replacement for the one that was not working well. The upstairs living room is small, but there is additional seating downstairs. My grandsons are ready for us to return in the summer!

We are from Columbia Missouri and have owned properties at the Lake for 25+ years. Grew up waterskiing each summer at the Lake with my parents co-owning a house near the Grand Glaize bridge they purchased in 1969. Tons of my favorite memories involve times had at LOZ and we get tremendous enjoyment sharing that opportunity with our guests each year.

Why they chose this property

Our neighborhood is mostly long term owners that have been there the entire time we've owned in this location. It's a very family oriented area and our kids have grown up with their kids/grandkids.

A childhood friend owns a couple other rentals right in our area and we're capable of hosting large groups across 3 different properties all within steps of each other.

What makes this property unique

I challenge anyone to find a better cove location at LOZ. Deep off the main channel, we enjoy quiet water always and awesome sunset views. If you enjoy lounging in the water our spot delivers in spades.

Our spacious covered deck looking out onto the Lake provides an incredible area to start each morning or finish each day/evening.
