The property was beautiful. Exactly what we expected. Located close to Cannery Row and Carmel. Mary was a great host and responded quickly to questions. Would definitely stay there again.

Loved this place! You can walk instead of drive. You can stay local and enjoy good restaurants, bars, music and the folks that live and visit the area. You can also hike the coast north or south for some exercise. It's not that far of a walk to Cannery Row. This place is a large space with 3 bedrooms, nice size living room and a well supplied kitchen. I didn't cook, but if I wanted to I definitely had the equipment to cook a good meal. If you have a larger group there is only one bathroom. For some this might be an issue. We were very comfortable staying here.We had a great time and look forward to returning.

Had another great stay here. It really is a perfect location to spend a weekend in the Monterey area and it is really nice to have an "at home" location vs hotel experience.

Wonderful place! You can't beat the location- close to everything in Monterey and Carmel! Walking distance to Lover's Point & lots of restraunts. Host is extremely responsive and gives great info. Beds are very comfortable. Highly recommend

The apartment was in a great location in the charming Pacific Grove. So clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more! The apartment is situated in the downtown area with so much to do within walking distance! We were able to meet Mary and her husband, who own the restaurant below as well! Very gracious hosts. We really enjoyed talking to Mary and appreciate all her recommendations. We ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and had a great experience both times. We have stayed in VRBOs for the last 20 years and Mary is by far the best host we've ever met. Thank you again for sharing your home!

This is now my Go-To place in the Monterey area! It is ideally situated 2 short blocks from the water, an easy 20-minute walk to the Aquarium and other Cannery Row sites, many great boutiques nearby, and there is a cinema theater just next door. The suite itself is cheery and comfortable - excellent bed mattresses! Our host, Mary met us at the door and was available when we had a couple questions. I travel a lot and mostly stay in AirBnBs. This is truly top of my list!

This was a great place to stay; clean, secure, cozy, nicely furnished, convenient to everywhere. Parking was always easy and the host was welcoming and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay in Pacific Grove--we usually visit Pacific Grove for a few nights, but this time, we stayed for a full week--walking every night along the ocean was a treat and visiting the Monterey Bay Aquarium was just a mile down the road. We enjoyed a few delicious meals at Aliotti's Victorian Corner Restaurant (right downstairs!). The suite was much larger than we expected with a fullly equipped kitchen, and it was all extremely clean and comfortable. Parking was easy--there's 24 hour parking next door, up the street. Our hosts, Mary and Domenic, were very friendly and nice. We were within easy walking distance to our favorites--PassionFish, Bookworks, the aquarium and several unique stores, plus a new (to us) ice cream place called Collette's. We hope to visit again soon!

I had a very bad experience. The worst ever!In the laundry room was a big fat rat!Strong Restaurant smell inside the apartment. Apartment is above a restaurant.We left right after we checked in. Moved to a hotel which was very costly because of Monterey Car Week was going on. So a total loss. I ask the host to give us at least a partial refund. I did this in a friendly consensus oriented way. The response was a No!

I’m so sorry you felt I was not a good host I double and triple checked the back area where the washer and dryer are! Just as a note, it is completely open to the outdoors No rat poop and no rat I have never become aware that a smell From my restaurant goes upstairs The unit is right in the heart of die tie with 4 restaurants on this very block At the end of the day the unit was clean and ready to go in car week I did say I was confused as to why to chose not to come back in my 16 years experience I have found you are the only one that was distasified Sorry you felt that way

Prime location, beautiful property, very clean, what more could we ask for? Everything about this beautiful Victorian apartment was prefect. It’s comfortable, well appointed, and super clean. Three comfortable bedrooms with tvs and ceiling fans have great lighting and ample closets. The kitchen has everything you need, including a counter with stools and a table and chairs. Bathroom is huge, modern fixtures, and Trader Joe’s bath products. Easy and quick communication with the manager. Wonderful space, wonderful rental!

The absolute BEST! Charming penthouse in the heart of downtown surrounded by shops and all kinds of wonderful food! Mary is so hospitable and her place is absolutely wonderful. You must try her restaurant below. The food is amazing!!!

Lovely apartment right in downtown Pacific Grove. Right by lots of shops, restaurants and cafes. The aquarium is a 20 min walk. Well equipped (it even had a kettle, and that's not always the case), clean and Mary, the host, is super nice. Be aware that, being downtown, this apartment is right by several restaurants with outdoor seating and live music on the weekends. The restaurants close at 9 pm though, so even the front bedroom is quiet enough after that. We had a lovely stay and would definitely come back any time we are in town.

Cute place in a nice location

We were visiting the aquarium and wanted to be relatively close to the aquarium. The place was at a great spot to walk around and the property was amazing.

Great location and really lovely painted lady

Clean, comfortable victorian apartment with all the amenities in the heart of Pacific Grove. Large, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Mary was a gracious hostess and she made it easy for us to really enjoy the place. Look forward to staying again.
