Aspen Haus was a great spot for our romantic weekend getaway! Overall the property was very nice, the hot tub was amazing, and the privacy was 100% our favorite part. The drive to the Hocking Hills visitor center/Old Man's Cave entrance also wasn't very far away. The lack of wifi during our stay wasn't ideal but at least one of us had service. The bed was also extremely creaky but other than those two hiccups, we had an amazing stay! We will absolutely stay here again on future trips to Hocking Hills.

The property and room were beautiful! There are other cabins around but they are placed in a way that makes you feel alone in the woods. Perfect place to unwind and disconnect. The property was 10-20 minutes from most of Hocking Hills trails

It was such a relaxing getaway.

I loved the decor in the cabin, it had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. One small note I will include - the lighting in the cabin was a bit harsh and cool toned, if the lightbulbs are switched for warm tones, that would make the place EVEN more relaxing. We loved using the fire pit and the hot tub, and the bed was very comfortable.

There were pet hairs everywhere on the area rugs and couch! And I mean everywhere! The stove also did not work and sparked! Kinda scary But other than that the experience was amazing! The space was amazing! The house and the experience! But if pets are allowed extra cleaning should be involved for the next guest! Highly recommended

Room was very clean, comfy and spacey. Exactly how it is advertised on VRBO. The kitchen was nice, hot tub was awesome as well. Only complaint was the shower not having hot water.

The cabin itself was amazing - I loved that it was screen free and so comfortable however we took cold showers both nights we were there. The sink water would get hot but the shower water would not. Overall though - shower aside , we would definitely consider staying again.

Only suggestion is to get cleaner appearing all metal wagons with better wheels for terrain. Otherwise all was outstanding!

Birthday getaway

The aesthetic of the cabin is everything I aspire for my own home to be one day. I loved it. The kitchen layout should have been done differently as getting into the fridge is a little tight but it was manageable. I enjoyed my relaxing stay and I actually had enough service to still use my phone when inside. Being able to bring my dog was a huge plus for me ! We enjoyed the stay and I would return.

The cabin was nice; the hot tub was not turned on in time for us to use it in our 1 night stay

The cabin was lovely and clean. I reached out via email about the hot tub not ever comin up to temperature even though we check the valves and left the cover on. Staff responded saying they were aware of the “eco-mode”. If you are aware the hot tub may not be close to temperature/in eco mode and also aware that the hot tub isn’t powerful enough to get warm enough during a 1 night stay (5-6 hours) it’s an issue. Staff won’t turn on/check accommodations before guest arrival?
