Best family time ever

We loved the location and the perfect family atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Just a few things different than the description but other then that everything was on.

The views are stunning from every room in the house!

Sunkissed has ocean views from every room making for a very special vacation! So convenient- you walk out your door and you are on a beach filled with seashells and views of dolphins, pelicans fishing in the ocean. The house is lovely, well stocked with the basics and rooms are comfortable and spacious. We have had a great week at Sunkissed!

The house was wonderful. The spot incredible. Perfect for the children.

We loved our stay. Each room with ocean view. Easy access to the beach for old and young. Fun topside deck. Thanks for the games. We had fun playing with the kids. Lots of steps so make sure you can climb up and down stairs.

Stayed here several years ago for a family reunion. Was an immaculate property then... Property has since changed ownership I find, Many little maintenance issues simply not dealt with as well as cleanliness and certain cleaning items normally in any rental and certainly in this rental when I originally rented for a week from the original owner. Broken items as well was disheartening to see since we rented this exact home years ago as I stated. We had to purchase kitchen cleaning items to be able to prepare food safely and clean countertops and appliances, etc. which we never had to do before especially for such a high priced beach rental home.

Thank you for your 4 star review. We’re sorry this stay did not match the visit you remember from years ago. Apparently your previous stay was quite a while ago as we have managed her since 2024 and the owners prior to 2024 never rented her. This home is now managed by Edisto Beach Vacation Rentals, LLC. Before arrival, every guest—including your party—electronically signs our Reservation & Rental Agreement. That agreement states that cleaning detergents, paper products, trash bags, and similar supplies are not provided. Guests bring those items as they would in their own home. A small starter amount of toilet paper and paper towels may be left if you arrive late; anything beyond that is the guest’s responsibility. This is standard on Edisto, especially since COVID, because we do not leave personal-use items for sanitation and liability reasons. The same agreement asks guests to call us on check-in day if cleanliness or a maintenance item is unsatisfactory so we can send our cleaning company or a technician right away. We also have an independent inspector after every turnover. We have no record of any call from your party at all during the stay asking us to address the items in this review? We want guests to enjoy Edisto. If something was missed after inspection, please email us privately with specifics so we can review it. The signed agreement is the place those concerns are meant to be raised—by phone on arrival—not after checkout. Edisto Beach Vacation Rentals, LLC

Excellent

We had an excellent stay! The communication was awesome and checking in was a breeze. We all had a wonderful time! The ocean was our backyard and it was fantastic. Everyone loved not having to pack snack and drinks, just steps away in the house. We will definitely be renting again.
