This was the perfect property and location for our vacation to the Mount Rushmore area. It was close to everything we wanted to explore and a comfortable spot to land at night. I highly recommend staying here!
Our time was spent discovering the area on our UTV's which the house was a prime spot! House was everything we needed to spend an entire week at. Highly recommend for any family who wants to explore Hill City and the surrounding areas.
This was an amazing place to stay. Close to all the major sites like Rushmore, Crazy Horse, downtown Hill City. The house is a piece of local history itself. The house was spacious and very clean. Do note it is not out away from civilization, you are literally right next door to a winery on one side and a rock shop on the other. But we still loved our stay and would stay here again for sure.
House was in a great location to see everything in the area. House was very clean and well stocked. Owner was very easy to contact and responded very quickly. Awesome
Nicely set up for relaxing after a day of riding side x sides or a day of sight seeing, close to Mount Rushmore and Hill City.Plenty of parking and air conditioning worked great for hot days. A mix of nostalgic and modern works well. The owners are very accommodating. Would highly recommend.
Awesome property with really close proximity to Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Deadwood, Jewel Cave, and Wind Cave, and a great launching point for day trips to Devil’s Tower or the Badlands. There’s a brewery/winery literally next door, Krupp’s grocery a few miles away, and plenty of great local drop-ins for food or coffee (the dairy bar!). Make sure to visit the nearby Alpine Inn for a great filet, but don’t forget cash!
This was a perfect place for us with close proximity to trails and other attractions. Loved the old charm and size if the the home. Will definitely stay again!
Overall, the place is comfortably historic. It's location is a bit surprising since it is tucked in with other adjacent attractions & businesses which is convenient. Will stay again.
We loved staying here! The history of it made it so fun and added charm and excitement for us. There is so much to do all over the black hills (we did it all) and this was the perfect central location!!! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
