Comfortable, colonial style home. Enjoy relaxing on the large patio with a view after a day of touring the Black Hills. 30 minutes from Mt. Rushmore and the Keystone area. Close to parks, shopping and recreational facilities. Quiet neighborhood adjacent to Meadowbrook G.C. Garage available for our winter guests. Owner is near if special attention is requested by guests. Weekly and monthly rates are available if desired. Contact host for rates.

The housr was exactly what we needed. It was clean, close to downtown, and quiet. There were individual air conditioners in each room. We would stay there again. The damage deposit was too high.

We enjoyed relaxing in the backyard. We had a family gathering and thoroughly enjoyed our time. This location was conveniently close to Rapid City, the Badlands, and Custer State Park. We had a great time.

Exactly What We Needed for Our Trip

We had a great stay! The house is older, but it was very clean and had everything we needed for our group. It was the perfect home base for all of our South Dakota adventures. Comfortable, cozy, and just right for relaxing after a long day of exploring. We’d stay here again!

Best VRBO ever.

This was an exceptionally clean property. The property was next to a golf course and the neighborhood felt very safe to take daily walks in. We only had 4 adults staying, but there was enough room for many more. The host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We were impressed with the comfort of the beds including the softness of the sheets and bed coverings. The house was fully functional including a well-stocked kitchen. If we ever came back to this area, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else! This was the best VRBO I have ever stayed in.

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. The 5 bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs worked great for us . It would work great for a family. The house was clean and very well kept. The host was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. I would recommend this rental to others and consider staying there again.

Good Price for Family

Homey and appreciated christian items around the house. We were surprised by the temporary air conditioning units in some of the bedrooms. Two of the five bedrooms had no air and it was 90 the day we arrived. We realized two days later that our room was warmer because the window was open. Had to keep our door open with three fans running to try to push air into the room across the hall. Didn’t use basement due to mildew smell and unsafe for little ones. Breezeway was unexpected and made it difficult to use the lovely patio that I thought would be one of our main places to hang out - too out of the way to get there and weather didn’t cooperate. The doors upstairs need oiling - was afraid of waking everyone up if I got up in the night. Front door doesn’t open all the way due to flooring. Tree out front on right could be trimmed as I had to maneuver to get in the car while trying to keep from getting wet from neighbors auto sprinkler.

Thanksgiving getaway

We met our son in Rapid City for Thanksgiving and our stay was perfect. The house is in a great neighborhood next to a golf course. Everything in the house meets the description of the house from VRBO. The kitchen was fully stocked so we could fix a Thanksgiving feast! We would stay here again if we come back to Rapid City.

Great place in rapid city.

Upon entering the house, we were immediately impressed by the cleanliness. The decor may be a little out of date, but the 5 upstairs bedrooms and two bathrooms made up for it. The beds are extremely comfortable. One downfall would be the lack of outlets in the bathroom. But definitely not a dealbreaker. The owners were very good about communicating with us. We would definitely stay there again if a house is needed in Rapid City Great for our whole family: from 87 to 4 months!

Beautiful Quaint Home

My group stayed at the property for the 84th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Host was very accommodating with requests and was quick to respond back to messages. The home was perfect for the needs of our group of 11 adults to enjoy the rally event. Location is definitely in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Grocery stores were not too far away from the property. House was pretty stocked with things you may also need.

Excellent Location

This property is an excellent location. Travel time to Mt. Rushmore, Sturgis, and Deadwood was within 30 minutes. The owner, C. A. Piper, responded to messages promptly. If you are looking for a family oriented location this is your stop. It has focus on how families spent time with each other. Board games, pool table, and movie watching. Looking to get back quality time with the family this is the place.

Excellent, affordable, great location

This property was absolutely perfect for our stay. Location to main attractions was perfect and yet far enough away to slow down. Very clean home, with fenced in patio which was nice for our toddler! Beautifully kept lawn in a nice neighborhood!
