Great location
Property is in a great location. Especially for fishing the west end beach. Also, some of the best sunset views you will find anywhere. We caught a ton of fish and had some great dolphin sightings up close to the house.
One nagging issue is the constant tresspassers that appear underneath the house to fish. The seawall that runs along the house is a favorite local fishing spot and the tresspassers can get pretty bold. Constantly asking tresspassers to leave detracted from the relaxation a bit. Other than that we really appreciated the location and proximty to the west end beach. Which is one of the best beaches on the gulf.
The layout of the house was nice with great views of the water. The kitchen is large and well equipped with pots/pans and utensils. There are also plenty of bathrooms.
There is some wear and tear on the house that could use some upkeep but its all minor paint and patch type stuff. The vinyl soffit cladding on the exterior, especially underneath the house is having a rough go of it. Be careful not to get hit by a piece of falling vinyl if the wind picks up, all other issues are cosmetic. Last gripe is that the grill was completely out of propane when we went to use it. And also the automatic lock on the door has a mind of its own.
Sounds like a lot of gripes but really you cant beat the location and overall the place is nice. Would recommend, especially if the trespassing issue can be brought under control.
