Fully equipped with everything! Our Lake access home Cabin 9 is located just across the road from the Clear lake Resort and beach. Featuring 3 bedrooms with 5 beds, two full bathrooms with shower/bathtub and 2 gas fireplaces, one upstairs in a large master bedroom and the other in the living room. With a partially fenced back yard to provide privacy while using the firepit.

Walk to the Lake, Beach, Clear Lake Bar, Party Store and Side-door Restaurant. Within 15 minutes to Championship Golf, Outlet Shopping.

Happy with our stay.

Beautiful home in an ideal location. The kids love the house. We were a party of 7 plus a dog and were very comfortable in the house. Any issues we had were addressed immediately. Except for unseasonably cool weather we all had a great time.

The Perfect escape!

The house was amazing. Just as advertised. We spent 2 days there to ride out ATV's, the trails were close by and having the party store close came in handy. Will definitely go back!!

Family Memories

We had a nice stay at this property. Our family was up north for a wedding and we came upon this cabin. It comfortably met the needs of the six of us. We made a lot of memories. We enjoyed walking around the lake and just sitting and relaxing at the shore in our spare moments. The party store/restaurant next door were a pleasant added accommodation.

Family Friendly Home

This is a great location for the family! You can snowmobile from the house with a short trip down the road. Restaurant behind the house has amazing food with a convenience store within walking distance which adds to the appeal of the house. House is super clean, well stocked and has plenty of room for a family. While we have rented this home mostly in the winter, I can certainly see the advantages of staying here in the summer as well. There is a park on the lake just across the street.

Great location to the lake!

Pros: The house was clean and well stocked (linens, kitchenware items, updated TV, easy to use entry code system), the staff was super responsive, friendly and incredibly helpful. We rented a pontoon boat and had no problems exchanging it for a different one when it needed a little TLC. Cons: specific to the property - there’s only two areas I’d like to highlight: 1. The backyard is not fully fenced in so if you prefer to let your dog out while you run to use the restroom in the morning (or to get fresh air/sniff EVERY blade of grass) know that one section of the fence, on each side of the house, is not fenced in. 2. It’d be great to have a door on the room with the bunkbeds (where the kid slept) and potentially at the top of the stairs for the master suite, allowing for a bit more privacy. Comments Related to the area: 1. The lake is beautiful, clear and quiet. 2. The staff at the restaurant are friendly and the pizza is good! 3. The party store has reasonably priced items and a good selection; however, during our second visit the manager and two of his friends/customers we’re incredibly rude to us (because we were wearing masks due to the COVID-19 virus) so we stopped spending money there and drove 15 minutes into town to get our groceries. 4. If you’re looking to celebrate an event and need cupcakes/cake you should reach out to Annie Cakes, she’s great! We purchased from her in early June 2021 when she was prepping to open her store so probably in July 2021 she’ll have the brick and mortar location.

Relaxing

When we arrived to the cabin it was everything that I had imagined from the pictures. Seeming it was during the winter, we all just relaxed and had a great time. I would rent this property again and again.

Loved our stay!

Despite the uncooperative weather we had a great stay at Clear Lake. The house was clean and well stocked, the backyard was great for our dogs and kids, the beds were comfy, and the lake is great. Definitely looking forward to coming again next year!

Second Stay, Last Stay

We were called by the property manager a day and a half before our stay, telling us there was a larger party who would like this cabin, and asked if we would be willing to switch to a much smaller cabin for the same price to accommodate these strangers. An incredibly rude thing to ask, but we regretfully obliged after realizing we had no other rental options on such short notice. 24 hours before our stay, and after making new arrangements to accommodate our much smaller cabin, she called to say we could have the original cabin in the first place. For our inconvenience, she waived the fee for our early check-in, and said “come anytime” and gave us the code. Just the two of us and our dogs were staying the night, but we were opening presents with our extended family and having lunch during the day here. So, we drove up three hours, arriving at 10am to get settled and make lunch, to find the cleaning lady just starting to get to work. If you’ve never been to Clear Lake, there’s nothing to do in the winter time but get drunk. So, the dogs, the food, my family and I all sat in the driveway and waited two hours for our cabin to be ready. The property manager just shrugged it off and said she was off today, there must have been a communication, and offered no apology. In fact, there was no one at the office to help us check in, even though I heard voices that would stop talking when I would shout “hello?” to try to get help. No one answered the hotline, either. So, hope you don’t have any questions or special requests. Since our first stay last year, things have considerably worn down and are no longer “charming”. The main bathroom door does not shut. Swings right open the moment you close it, so enjoy peeing in front of everyone. Don’t open the utility closet, or you worn be able to close it again. The house is drafty and cold in the winter, so sleep in layers. There is a thermostat dial on the baseboards, but they won’t tell you that. Find out the hard way, like we did. The beds are sketchy; don’t let your kid sleep on the top bunk. The railing is barely hanging on. In the master suite, the headboard smacks into the wall if you so much as roll over, because it’s so wobbly and loose. If no one has slept in the beds, they don’t change the linens. I had dust on my pillowcase. If you need a place to crash after partying on the lake in the summer, and are too drunk to care, go for the stay. Just don’t expect much otherwise.

Thank you for the feedback but we need to set the record straight. We contacted you two days before your arrival regarding an issue we had with another reservation and asked if you would be willing to move to a different cabin. With that move we would have accommodate you with a credit or gift certificate. Within an hour half from that conversation, we contact you again by phone and text and thanked you for working with us but let you know to disregard everything, and no move was necessary. In regard to the early arrival we always communicate with our guest a few days prior arrival with a door code, directions and arrival time of 4pm. We do offer an earlier check-in time, but this must be coordinated with us. You responded back to us by text of requesting a noon check-in. If a different time is needed, we need to be notified to make arrangements. When communicating with our guest we provide many different ways of doing so. During our slower time of year, we do not always have someone in the office but provide several phone numbers for calling or texting. These are available before and during your stay if there are any issues with your stay. In regard to voices that were heard, there is a cabin above the office. Hopefully there was no disturbance to the guest. As far as the list of your complaints, there was not one time we received any communication on the issues you were having. Our heating system is self-explanatory with each room having a dial to increase the heat for each register. The cabin has a electric heating system. There is also a thermostat for the fireplace that is labeled and a remote control for the fireplace upstairs. The issues about the doors and beds will be addressed immediately. We do appreciate the guest addressing these with us so they can be fixed. And to top it off they skipped out on paying the second half of their balance. Because of the circumstances we did not pursue the matter. This should to be a warning to other property owners who rent to this person, if there is an issue with this guest reservation it will snowball. We pride ourselves on making things right if there are issues. The unfairness of posting the concerns and not addressing them with us and not giving us a chance is not appreciated.

Great vacation, great house!

We loved our stay at Clear Lake! The house was perfect for us. It was clean, tidy, and welcoming. We were able to dive into a relaxed and fun vacation immediately. My wife and I really enjoyed having a suite upstairs and balcony all to ourselves. There was plenty of room downstairs for the kids. The front deck and the fire pit in back were great too. Nice location close to the lake.

Absolutely Wonderful!

The house was perfect for our needs. Reasonably priced, good location, and fit the whole family with room to spare. It served as base camp for other family members who rented cabins just across the road. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

Home away from home

This house was just what we needed. There were 7 adults & we had more than enough room. Great kitchen, very clean, 2 full bathrooms were excellent. Loved sitting out on the huge deck in the evening & chilling with family
