Stargazing is incredible with almost no light pollution. Well kept private trails lead out to MILES of State ATV/ORV/Snowmobiling trail systems. Bring your own trail toys, or rent them within riding distance (1/4mile) at Luzerne Express, or RZR Rentals is on the way up to the cabin just 30 min south. Dog Friendly! Main Cabin has (4) Queen beds, 60' Smart TV with your favorite streaming services. 50’ Smart TV in the primary suite. Wifi, Smart keyless entry. Private Office desk and chair in the front mud room with outlets. The sunroom with its vaulted ceiling and hot tub, is right next to the bird feeders and wildlife. Enjoy nearby restaurants, carry out or use our fully stocked kitchen and brand new BBQ allowing for intimate and convenient meals. An abundance of parking space can accommodate for multiple ATV/ Snowmobile trailers, RV's and guest parking. Minutes from Floating/Rafting/Kayaking or World Class Fishing of the famous Au Sable River! (2) single rider kayaks available to guests. Top Notch golfing at nearby Forest Dunes Golf Course. Trailer your boat over to Higgins or Houghton Lake! In the garage space you’ll find a Ping Pong Table, Pool Table, Air Hockey, Foosball, Corn Hole set, Darts, and a bartop with stools. The cabin is stocked with DVDs, chess, board games, books, magazines, top of the line linens/ towels/ pillows, Oscillating fans, additional space heaters, spare chargers. Utilize any firewood on the property. Mini cabin sleeps 2-3 more, has AC, is included. Add on brand new luxury 36ft camper to sleep 8 more! Super cool cabin enough room for a large group. If your looking for the up north feel with some modern amenities and a beautiful cabin this is the place. The mini cabin has a wood stove or plan to bring a small heater. There's a great pole barn that is their game room. Its unheated but is a great place to hang out. Lots of trails and even a target practice range.

We loved our stay! There were 15 of us on our family getaway. With the main cabin, the smaller cabin, and the camper (which we added on) there was plenty of room. We enjoyed all the things to do such as ride on the trails in the golf cart, play in the game room, soak in the hot tub, and have fantastic bonfires and cookouts. We took so many pictures and made wonderful memories. It's a beautiful place to stay!

Reconnect with nature in a private setting

Clean, cozy, and cute, this cabin has it all! The private, wooded setting and hiking trails allow you to get away from it all. No close neighbors, you can see one house light and that’s it. Stargaze and listen to birds chirping and coyotes howling. The area offers 4 seasons of outdoor fun on the Ausable, but you have everything you need right here on the property if you ask me, there’s even a sledding hill. Grill yourself a steak, lounge by the campfire, then jump in the hot tub! We were so grateful we could bring our dog with us too!

Almost Great

My review would have been different had communication AFTER our stay had been better but unfortunately thats not the case. In terms of the property, its a beautiful area. There are lots of small touches that were very appreciated such as complimentary snacks and lots of recreational games. We had our wedding on the property and we enjoyed our day! The next items are things I would have left out and would have just let the owner know so they could help it go better for future guests, but their response was rude, defensive, and accusatory and it didnt sit well with me. When we arrived to the property, we had to clean surfaces, had to vaccuum to get LOTS of dog hair off the couches that was coming off on our guests’ clothes, and had dog waste in the yard. We did not take pictures or contact owner about these things because we didn’t want to make a big deal out of little things. We also used an RV and dealt with no heat with 30 degree weather (apparently propane tank was empty) and issues with toilet draining. We did not contact them about these issues after first night because we thought it was resolved and it was our wedding day and we were distracted. Trash was another big issue, there was no where to dispose garbage but discovered a dumpster at end of very long drive. We were charged for having more garbage (after 4 days and a wedding) than would fit in one dumpster and were told we could have driven trash to gas station and paid them to dispose of it.

Great Experience

We very much enjoyed our stay. It had everything you need for your child and/or pet. It was clean and very inviting from the minute you walked in. The hot tub was ready for use and a nice basket was left out with snacks along with water bottles. Both TVs have all the apps you would need/ want to stream shows and movies. The property is well maintained and quiet. We definitely want to to book again!!!

Family ORV trip

We stayed here midweek in mid June. We had a great time. The cabin was in great shape. We had a small issue upon check in and the hosts were on top of within an hour and had someone come out and fix it. Well done! There was plenty of room for our family and dog. We brought up two quads and there was plenty of room to maneuver our trailer and unload it on the property. The state trails are right around the corner and a rental place for ORVs is very close as well. Over all we had a an excellent stay and will be saving this listing as one of our favorites. Thanks again for a great time.

This place was perfect for the four of us! Great rural location with a local supply shop just down the road. Everything was so clean! There were some nice small touches that really made our experience welcoming. The hot tub was incredible! It got right up to temperature and stayed there. I would definitely book this place again.

Riding ATV’s, snowmobiling, Hiking, exploring, floating the river, kayaking, walking our dog, birdwatching, stargazing, playing games with our loved ones, enjoying a bonfire, relaxing in the hot tub, or the hammock and having a movie night at the end of the night are all part of what we love to do at the cabin and we hope you enjoy these things as well!

The 10 acres we have is secluded and private, we have no neighbors that could impose on us, we truly feel like we have our own space to relax. It’s conveniently located near food, and tubing/rafting and trails for ATV’s. It’s a great location.

Our property is unique because you’re surrounded by nature and you can hit the trails directly from our yard. ATV’s or snowmobiles are always a fun time.
