Montauk getaway

A great weekend getaway; the cabin was very cute and cozy and the farm animals were an added bonus . Close to Montauk state park for great couple of days fly fishing.

The cabin was clean and pet friendly. We missed the info about "no TV" so that was a bit of shock to us. We enjoyed watching the cattle graze on the hillside behind our cabin.

We have lived in Missouri for 11 years now and absolutely love it here! We love sharing about our Texas Longhorn cattle and our love for our ranch. We want to be able to share our love with others and let people see how wonderful this breed is.

Why they chose this property

Where we have placed the cabins on the ranch has the best view of the valley, so you can look out from the back deck and see the grace and beauty of the cattle and see the wonder of the Ozarks as well.

What makes this property unique

Our ranch is the headwaters for Pigeon Creek, which flows into the Current River. We have incorporated the cabins into the ranch so that guests can get the feel of living on a ranch and the quietness of living in the country. We are also centrally located between the Current River/Montauk State Park and the Big Piney River. We are also a short drive to Mark Twain National Forest.
