Luxury Glass Villa Near the Beach with Private Chef

The Villa Mariana is a private estate in Manuel Antonio, featuring a stunning glass house designed by an award-winning architect and featured on House Hunters International. The base rate includes exclusive use of the 4-bedroom Main House, comfortably sleeping up to 11 guests, with an option to add another twin bed (additional fee) for up to 12 guests. A separate 2-bedroom Guest House may be added for an additional $400 nightly fee, increasing total capacity to up to 16 guests with 6 bedrooms.

Concierge Services (Included)
• Assists with planning prior to arrival, including airport transfers, first chef meal, grocery pre-stocking, and excursions
• Personally greets guests upon arrival and provides a full property orientation
• Remains available throughout the stay via WhatsApp for coordination and support

Housekeeping Services (Included)
• Professional housekeeping service provided six days per week to maintain the home
• Laundry service available on scheduled service days

Property Caretaker Services (Included)
• On-site property caretakers maintain the grounds and assist with daily operations
• Available to help with luggage, open and close the home, and point out local wildlife

Chef Services (Included)
• Private chef service included for up to two meals per day on most stays
• Cost of food is additional
• For groups of 9 or more guests, a chef’s assistant is required and is $300 per stay

Wildlife & Nature
• The property is surrounded by lush jungle and is known for frequent wildlife sightings, including titi monkeys, capuchin monkeys, macaws, toucans, and sloths.
• Wildlife activity varies daily, but guests often enjoy seeing animals directly from the pools, the yoga deck and the living spaces.

Location & Accessibility
• Located approximately 200 meters from Route 618 in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area, offering privacy while remaining close to restaurants, beaches, and attractions.
• A casual local restaurant is located just outside the front gate, ideal for a quick and authentic Costa Rican meal.

Beaches & Outdoor Experiences
• Playa La Macha, a secluded beach located behind the property, can be reached by hiking and offers stunning scenery for adventurous guests. The hike typically takes 25–45 minutes depending on pace and conditions.
• Several of Manuel Antonio’s most popular public beaches are just a short 3–7 minute drive from the villa.

Guests have exclusive access to the Main House and all designated outdoor living areas included in their reservation. The separate 2-bedroom Guest House is not included unless added to the booking. Our private concierge will meet guests upon arrival, provide gate access and keys, and review all access instructions. Certain storage, service, or staff-only areas are not accessible to guests.

Main House (Included)
The Main House is a spacious, open-air glass home designed for seamless indoor-outdoor living and comfortably accommodates up to 11 guests across four bedrooms.

Main House Sleeping Arrangements:
• Master Bedroom: 1 King bed + 1 twin daybed
• Ginger Flower Bedroom: 2 Queen beds
• Heliconia Bedroom: 1 King bed
• Madera Bedroom: 1 King bed (an optional twin bed may be added with advance notice for an additional fee)

Casita Guest House (Not Included unless paid in advance)
The separate 2-bedroom Casita is available only as an add-on for Main House guests and is never rented independently.
• Available for an additional nightly fee of $400 + tax
• Adds flexibility and privacy for larger groups, increasing total capacity to up to 16 guests
• Features two Queen bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a kitchen, living area, sleeper loveseat, private pool, and expansive outdoor deck
• Located steps from the Main House while remaining completely private
• Advance notice required to add the Casita to a reservation

Parking & Transportation

• Taxis are readily available, and many guests choose not to rent a car
• Our concierge is happy to assist with taxi arrangements and transportation coordination
• Most tours and excursions include round-trip transportation
• Rental cars can be delivered directly to and picked up from the property for added convenience

• Base rate includes exclusive use of the 4-bedroom Main House. The separate 2-bedroom Guest House is available for $400 per night.
• A private chef is included in all rentals. For groups of 9 or more guests, a chef’s assistant is required and is $300 per stay.
• Standard stays follow a Saturday changeover whether the stay is 5 nights, 6 nights or 7 nights. No exceptions. Holiday changeover dates for Christmas and New Year’s weeks may vary depending on the calendar year. High season and holidays require 7 night stays (Saturday to Saturday).
• Once your booking is accepted, guests are required to e-sign our rental agreement.
• Guests will be introduced to their private concierge after booking.
• A 13% Costa Rica VAT tax is added to all bookings.
