We are located 8 miles from ricketts glen state park, right next door to Lopez Winery and vineyards, it's a rural area, we have a big backyard with a fire pit, Lots of land and trails to walk on. Surrounded by acres of blueberry bushes, state game lands and lots of wildlife.
Scenic view, relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.

Blueberries are in season beginning of July to end of July and sometimes into August. You’re welcome to pick as many as you want!

We are close to two state parks, one being Ricketts Glen state park, the other Worlds End state park.

Located right outside of the town Lopez, Pa

Your chances of seeing Wildlife is very likely.

We also have lots of chickens, ducks and turkeys, so if you like farm fresh eggs there will be some in the fridge.

Have lots of property you can explore.

If you are looking for a place to stay during hunting season, state games lands are within walking distance.

Quiet and peaceful, secluded but still close enough for interaction.

Only one stop light in the whole county.

Family, kid and pet friendly.

Fall foliage is literally stunning in Sullivan County, Pa

Whether it’s summer, fall or the dead of winter it is a beautiful place to stay.

Lopez Pa is the ice box of Pa!

Sullivan County Pa is one of the best places to be when it comes to fall foliage! Peak colors are usually early - mid October, depending on the weather of course. At our place the scenic views of the leaves changing are breathtaking.

If you love winter - Lopez, Pa is considered the Icebox of Pennsylvania. & after a fresh coating of snow it’s really a winter wonderland.

Property owner was great to work with! Responded quickly to questions I had before my trip. Place is fully equipped with kitchen tools, toys for the kids, DVDs to watch, etc. Also, my stay was at the end of July and my kids and I were able to pick some blueberries on the property. Great place to stay with the family!

Very affordable and clean, lovely views and walks. Added bonus of winery just steps away. Minutes from Ricketts Glenn trail. Would recommend.

This is a cozy, private place curated with a loving personal touch! There was only two of us, but I coukd see a whole family having a lovely time. The beds aren't super duper high end, but you won't care after a long day of physical activity and fun. I gurantee you'll feel relaxed, playful and grateful

Beautiful property, Great host

This VRBO is excellent if you're travelling w pets, as we were. The 7' wide mowed, grassy paths on the property are wonderful for walking the pups. The farm-fresh eggs, which the host provided, made for a scrumptious breakfast. The location is really private, which was nice.

Lopez winery was fantastic.

We spent all day at Lopez winery chatting with the owner and drinking wine. We then had a short walk to the vet comfortable trailer. We had a great time! Thank you Lopez winery!

Great location!

Great location, quiet, large property full of blueberry bushes! The house had everything we needed, and the winery was great! It’s not a “fancy” winery, which is why we loved it! Host was great too! Very responsive and helpful! Loved seeing the deer in the morning, and interacting with the other animals on property. Will definitely be back!

The property is not what the pictures would suggest. We didn’t stay,but I want to leave a comment for those who may not be willing to eat the cost of the booking. The entire property is covered in old junk and rusted toys. Dirty curtains are bunched up in the windows and it’s about 30 feet from the winery to three of those windows. We didn’t even get out of the truck. It’s not made out to be a 5 star resort in the listing, but this is a scene out of the hills have eyes. “Quaint” would require considerable clean up and maintenance.

My rental is exactly as pictured, communication is everything and that is what was lacked in this situation, I have multiple homes on my property, there’s a reason I send an address with house #. The rusted toys is tractor equipment that gets rusted because of weather, none of it is toys, and not everyone can afford to purchase brand new plows and tractor attachments. This is rural PA, and nothing more than that, most people love my place. How’s the saying go, don’t judge a book by its cover.

Bees

If you like wasps this is your place! We got there and there was 10 to 15 wasps in the house and 100 around trying to get in the house. Everything about the property was good except for wasps. We were told it's because its bee season but clearly theres a nest and they did nothing about it. Windows and doors not sealed properly lettin more bugs and bees.

There was nothing I could do about it because you didn’t contact me until you already left. If you would’ve contacted me like I said to do if you had any issues, I would’ve been down there in a minute to fix your problem. The time of year in the country when it gets cold bees/wasps find cracks and crevices to hide in, then if you have a suddenly warm day they become active again.
