Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are fans of Wild Dunes and have stayed there many times. We liked this condo and would come back. However, we did not know about the beach project which was directly in front of us. They worked day and night. We had to make a long trek (unexpected) to get to the beach. We also heard the machinery all night long. This should have been shared with us. We could easily have selected another place on the island. Island Realty - you can and should have done better. Disappointing!

We have stayed there many times over the years.

The view and close access to the beach was a plus. The screened in porch was a nice place to sit and listen to the waves. The condo was clean and neat. However, it was not convenient to have to provide your own supplies like toilet paper and laundry detergent. Including a few extras like that, plus some basic spices and coffee supplies would bump up the quality.The pool was a bit of an issue. It was closed for repairs on the first day, and shortly after it was supposedly repaired and refilled, the water was cloudy and had debris in it (including a dead crab). There was no skimmer available for guests to clear the debris.

Mareck rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was fine except for a couple of things. The cookware was a total mess, no large frying pan and all crammed into small cupboard. Most plates were stacked WAY too high and we had to use a chair to rearrange things so they were usable. The 2nd issue was the need for directions to use the washer.

The condo was nice and clean for our stay. We had direct access to the beach with tons of walking both on the beach and within the Wild Dunes community. The check-in process was seamless and with no issues, so there was no need to contact the host. We would definitely visit again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is in fair condition. We have stayed in better ones in Port of Call. Needs better kitchen supplies and a firmer mattress and an overall update. But overall is livable. Just a lot of $$ to pay for poor outdated bathroom and lighting, poor outdoor porch furniture etc..

Nice room but needs improvements

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was good. Very close the beach. The TV’s need to addressed. There needs to instructions how to use them. They both used xfinity but one was a smart tv and the other wasn’t. You had to select the correct input mode and they weren’t identified by name, and the channel menu was different. Lastly they were both unplugged and it was aggravating to find that out plus we had to move furniture to plug them in. There are no ceiling fans in the bedroom or living room and they could get stuffy. I would only recommend the condo if these are addressed.

Comfortable bed but I do recommend bringing a fan for the bedroom. Bathroom is in need of some repairs but functional. Overall we had a great stay and would book this unit again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First the good things. The location is good, good view of the beach. Kitchen supplies were adequate but could use some updating. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom needs the caulk removed around the floor of the shower is peeling and looks dirty. It needs to be grouted not caulked. The bathroom has a small hole in the wall and desperately needs a coat of paint. And a towel bar is definitely needed. If the bathroom could be taken care of (which would take any good handy man less than a day)I would rent this place again, otherwise-not.

We like the Port O' Call floor plan especially the large screened in porch. Nice furniture.However, someone needs to take an inventory of the kitchen. We had to buy more silverware, a hot pad, knife sharpener, can opener and measuring cups.Also, whoever did the caulking in the shower should be ashamed. Not only did they do a terrible job, but used bright white on a brown tile.
