Nice Condo Near Disney

This 5 bedroom condo worked great for our family vacation in Orlando. It was clean and the location was near everything we wanted to do. The hot tub in the back was a nice plus. The living area in the condo was a bit small and some areas of the condo needed updates/improvements. Overall, great stay and the owner was responsive in questions we had prior to our stay.

large townhouse for employees working at Universal

great place with plenty of room for 5 grown men, description was just as its listed, we will be there for 3 more weeks as more work came up, I scheduled cleaning every 2 weeks, and they do an amazing job. it was perfect for our needs and the AC worked great which is a Big plus in the Florida Heat, wish we could have seen the pool more, but working 14hrs a day, there is not much time for relaxing. we will be booking again soon as more work comes up. Maintenance required & updates are needed

When I arrived with groceries I discovered the refrigerator wasn’t working & the jacuzzi. Men underwear was left behind and the plumbing in the upstairs bathroom sink wasn’t draining. I notified the owner about the issues. No resolution was made during my stay. Overall I had a place to stay and made the best of it. What’s advertised is not matching, it needs major cleaning and update appliances and plumbing.

A few days before arriving, we were informed that the unit we rent wasn't available any more amd that we would get anotjer one instead. This was our first disapointment. After arriving at property, tv in one room wasn't working, poor internet, we had to buy a T-mobile plan, dryer wasn't working so I called the number that was given to me without any luck. I've sent an email which they replied they were sending someone to look into these, but till yesterday at the time of checkout nothing. I wouldn't recommend any one rent these homes because it is a waist of money.

Looking for a place to hang out?

Overall value isn’t there with this property. For a five bedroom, there isn’t adequate space for family to hangout. Not enough couch and chair space. The TV area is painfully small. We had to sit at the kitchen table to watch TV. Couch upgrade needed badly in size and quality. The kitchen pots and pans are in very poor condition, they need replacing yesterday. If you’re a family on the go, this place is great for sleeping and showering, but hanging out and cooking, not so much. The outside grill was a disappointment, very budget, cheap. Community pool was good. No dish soap, cascade, trash bags or extra toilet paper. A caddy with a few of these items in it would of been appreciated. Hot tub was on the small side but it was clean. The kids loved it. The mattresses were comfortable, on the softer side which was perfect. Real happy with them. Overall it was ok but does need some upgrades/ replacement of things.

Terrible Stay

The only good thing about this property was the owner let us checked in early. She gave us some rules about parking. We could only park at the driveway or between sidewalk and road. We rented a minivan for our group, first night I parked on the driveway, all the way to the house. The next morning we woke up, the car was gone. My first thought was stolen. No notice or anything given. The next door neighbor’s car was also gone but they got a text message that told them the car was towed. They also rented the house. Tow truck company claimed our cars parked passed the sidewalk a few inches!!!!! However I saw several cars parked the same way as us for days and didn’t get towed. My conclusion is the HOA didn’t like vrbo. I asked owner to compensate as it wasn’t communicated clearly that I couldn’t park pass the sidewalk even a few inches but owner refused. Another thing is we stayed for 10 days only got 2 dishwasher tablets and no detergent for washer, 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, 1 small bar soap for each bathroom. There were also a lot of ants on the dining table and living room. And as a bonus the house was haunted. Every night around 3-5 am there were sound of people talking, doors opened and closed by themselves. Definitely won’t be back. Owner had several properties, make sure you check before book. Terrible, terrible experience!!!!!

Budget Property that needs updating, a thorough cleaning, and new management.

I would not stay at this home again. Simply put, not up to par. NOTHING is included, except for 1-2 rolls of toilet paper and a very small piece of soap in the br. That's it. The two stools (shown in the picture) are broken and not usable. My family and I were disappointed and wrote this letter to the owner. "I am writing to indicate my concern about some things regarding .......  We rented this home for an economical vacation option for my family. Once there, we found the home to be less than satisfactory-----the major issue being the walls. The walls were dirty all over and they need a thorough cleaning or repainting.  Two of the four bar stools at the round kitchen table are broken and unable to be used.   My family owns an F150. We parked in the driveway around 11:30 pm after a day at the theme park.  When we awoke the next morning, our car was missing. Very frightening. We call 911 only to find that it had been towed for "allegedly" blocking part of the side walk. We looked at other cars (and took pictures) that were also blocking the side walk. We were charged $125 to get our truck back. We strongly believe this housing area has a deal with the tow company and they take advantage of travelers. Lastly, and most importantly, is the TERRIBLE customer service. We were locked out of the home.  Apparently, you are not supposed to lock the bottom lock (but there are no signs or instructions telling you not to). We called the management company and spoke to someone in the company around 8:30 pm. The person on the other phone seemed highly irritated and bothered.  He told me he would call us back in a few minutes to let us know if/when he could reach someone else he worked with who was closer in distance. My family and I decided to run and get food.  The management company called us back a few minutes later and said "You're not home!" He said this several times in an irritated tone, and I finally asked him if the door had been unlocked.   I also addressed his tone of voice, told him he seemed perturbed, and reminded him that we were paying customers. He then asked me if he should have said it in a "musical voice." I hung up." The owner contacted me and said he would hire a new management company. Uh....ok. He also offered us a free night for the NEXT time we stayed with him. We asked if he would refund us for one of the four nights we stayed....no response. We gave it two stars because someone did come by to fix the bar stools.

Unit was unclean when we arrived. Used wash clothes still in the showers. Hot tub is listed in the rental but was unusable, desperately needs to be serviced or replaced. When owner was messaged regarding the hot tub the response was the community hot tub is available for use. Community hot tub and pool close at 6. Which does not make for ideal use in a vacation rental if you’re gone all day visiting amusement parks and wish to relax in the hot tub at night. Had there been an attempt to remedy the issue we would have been happier.

Comfortable beds and Clean

The place was clean and beds were comfortable. The owner was great at communicating with us. There were a few things that we did to improve our stay. The coffee maker was not brewing properly (since the carafe didn’t match the coffee maker) so we purchased one to take back home with us. The shower curtain rods upstairs were also not installed correctly. They were falling easily so we purchased tension rods to keep them from falling. (My first shower resulted in the whole curtain coming down mid shower.) There were also 9 light bulbs that were burnt out or missing from light fixtures. It was easily fixable, but would have been nice not to have to deal with it.

Private Hot Tub outweighs any negatives

The original property I booked was not available and the owner subbed this one with my permission. Honestly the pictures for the other place looked nicer, but the layout and location were the same. From a critic’s perspective, I see that the furniture is mismatched and outdated, so it’s not aesthetically appealing, and rather plain instead. Hotel furnishings are nicer. I’ve been in condo rental market and I realize some people don’t treat other people’s things with respect, so owners are hesitant to put too much money into decor. Definitely bring washcloths and hand towels as only basic towels are provided. Found out the morning we left there were additional towels in a linen closet downstairs. 🙄 Washer/dryer worked great. Didn’t cook or use kitchen except to make coffee in the morning. But it was clean even though it needs a few minor repairs (doorknobs pushed into the walls; a few light bulbs out or else the switches are not wired properly). And the bedrooms were spacious; the one bed we used was comfortable although the foundation squeaked quite a bit when we rolled over. The unit next door has a motion-sensitive million-watt porch light that was so bright it woke me out of sleep every time a car passed by. I used a lap blanket and hair clips to cover the blinds. ***One thing NOT noted by the owner until the week of travel is that you can’t set the AC below 70. However, when we got there, a notice was posted that the lowest setting is 72, otherwise the AC freezes up and you will be billed for a service call. If I had been traveling in the summer, that would have been a HUGE issue for me. As this trip was in November and the temps were milder and the fact that we were gone all day…. Turned out not to matter so much at night, especially with a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Mornings were still stuffy in my opinion, and I don’t feel that the downstairs cooled well at all. I couldn’t get anywhere near the tiny bit of chain hanging out to turn on the living room ceiling fan, which would have been nice. STAR OF THE SHOW: the (semi) private hot tub. After hiking around parks and shops all day, relaxing with a cocktail in the hot tub was the perfect way to end the evening. The unit backs up to a wooded area, but there is an adjacent unit with no privacy fencing between the two. As it happened, no one next door was out at the same time we were, but it could have been awkward. All in all, this place served its purpose well.

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed staying at this property. There were a few cosmetic issues that I hope will be addressed as soon as possible(all have been addressed with the owner). The bed we slept in was very comfortable. I liked the fact that it was in a gated community. Be careful to keep the cover on the hot tub, the high jet setting will shoot water out of the tub and empty it when it cycles thru and the temperature is not consistent. All in all I enjoyed my stay and will consider it again if we get back to Orlando in the future.

Kissimmee Rental

The property was overall clean but there were areas, that maybe due to difficult access, were not thoroughly cleaned. Specifically, the sides and behind fridge and washer/dryer. Location was good, approximately 15min to Disney and 30min to Universal Studios. Also, one of the sinks was clogged and we fixed it (also notified the owner) but she didn't say thanks which I think was a little rude but I won't take it personal ;). Another item that we found weird was that she asked us to wash all the towels and sheets before leaving even though there is a cleaning fee associated with the rental. Overall we give 4 stars to this townhouse.

Good but some bad

So the property very good location. the only issues were that the shower curtain liners need to be changed, the 3rd bedroom the foot of the bed is unstable. and the corner are dangerous my bestfriend hurt herself. and so did my cousin on the bed he slept on in the 2nd bedroom. also the toaster one side didn't work.

Bait and switch

Booked the property and paid, then was contacted by owner that it was not available for that week but he had another one at the same property and would give us the same price, not exactly what we wanted, I wanted the unit that had the larger double/ queen sized beds for the adult group that was traveling with us and ended up with twin children’s beds, not what I booked, but it was really to late for us to change to something else.The property was in some disrepair doors off a closet, large rodent like holes in the bases of the kitchen cabinets, the bathroom plastic shower curtains where gone from two of the bathrooms and the third had mold on it. They did come and put the curtains on so we wouldn’t get the floors all wet. The couch had a cover on it, but was in need of a cleaning. Bath rooms could have cleaned better, the counter tops of the sink were coming apart. We had to call twice to get about the hot tub, it was dirty and not hot when we arrived, the cover was not on it, they seemed to have come when we where not there and might have but chemicals in the water, but there was still sand or dirt at the bottom of the tub and now some kind of scum all around the edges of the pool.We ended up not using it. The screen porch over the hot tub was torn and hanging done over the hot tub, as well as the door screen was also cut and loose like someone had tried to break in but no one has repaired the damage. There was no lake view as they stated, it was of a wall which was along a very busy noisy street. In All of this owners listings we have looked at since we stayed there does any of them show pictures of this wall, only lake and wooded photos.

The property itself was very nice. Very clean & well stocked. However, a few TVs didn’t work in some bedrooms. The hot tub was not cleaned & when we called the property management no one got back to us. The neighborhood pool was closed the whole 4 days we were there so we were not able to swim like we were promised we would. The gym was closed. The movie theater was closed. We felt that it was falsely advertised since we didn’t get to enjoy the “amenities” & we paid a lot for our vacation. The property was very nice but if you want to stay there make sure you know if the amenities will be available and make sure the hot tub is cleaned. I give them 4 stars for the beautiful house. The only reason I’m not giving them a 5 is because of the broken TVs and the dirty hot tub. But as far as the amenities I give them a 0!!!
