This great little house is very convenient for visiting the Side Bar restaurant, museum of South Texas on the Courthouse square. The host was very responsive and helpful for all questions I had about the property, amenities, that was so much appreciated.Will stay again. Perfect location and patio for small gatherings.

Tasteful, yet cozy :)

We had a wonderful stay! The furnishings and amenities were very tasteful, yet cozy. The beds were very comfortable and the backyard with the hot tub was such a nice little getaway. We will definitely plan to rent again when we're in the area!

Our host, Javier was most accommodating and very responsive. He almost immediately answered our concerns and questions. He was extremely gracious.

The property has great potential and features very comfortable beds, a nice backyard, and a relaxing jacuzzi. While the home was mostly clean, we did find some dust bunnies and experienced a cockroach issue during our stay. To the host's credit, he did try to address the pests promptly by spraying and setting out bait but was an inconvenience for us. Unfortunately, we encountered several maintenance issues during our two-week stay that became stressful to manage. The main refrigerator did not cool properly, requiring us to use a small secondary fridge and we were advised by the host to disconnect the large fridge for 24 hrs and he would have the house keeper go and defrost it ( we did not feel like dealing with that and just chose to use the small one). Additionally, the large living room fan was broken(host said the previous person that booked had messed it up ) and the air conditioning unit made a very loud clicking and banging noise every time it turned on and off while cycling.Because I was dealing with heavy personal matters at the time, I didn't have the energy to constantly manage "complaints," so I waited until my last day to notify VRBO. I was deeply saddened when the host reacted with rude comments, assuming I was just searching for compensation. My only intention was to be transparent about my experience. This is a beautiful home, but the issues we faced—and the communication at the end—overshadowed our visit and made a challenging two weeks much harder.

Gracis por tus comentarios, ya fue arreglado el abanico de techo,se hizo 2 veces la fumigacion de la casa por dentro para tu llegada, desafortunadamente por las temperaturas altas las. CUcarachas buscan temperaturas mas bajas debido al aire acondicionado de la casa y entran por el drenage, lo que se te fue explicado cuando llego ama de llaves a la casa a fumigar de nuevo al dia 2 de tu llegada y te dejo 3 cubiertas ,para sink de la cocina y de los 2 ban̈os para evitar que siguieran entrando,estuviste menos de 2 semanas y conteste mas de 36 mensajes mandados tuyos, trate de resolver todos tus requerimientos pero la verdad fueron demasiadas exigencias tuyas , tengo mas de 2 an̈os de ser super anfitrion y la mayoria de mis huespedes se fueron contentos y me calificaron bien, yo jamas fui irrespetuoso en mis comentarios hacia ti y ahi estan guardados los comentarios, asi mismo efectivamente llamaste a vrbo buscando un descuento de mi parte el cual no procedio por las politicas de vrbo y de mi alojamiento, y vrbo te devolvio su comision cobrada para mantenerte contenta ante tus exigencias. Entendi que estas pasando por un mal momento de la perdida de tu familiar pero no creo justo que otras personas paguen por eso incluyendome.

Perfect vacation home

We really enjoyed our stay here. I’m not sure why there aren’t more high ratings because this was an amazing Vrbo stay for us. We brought our dog and he had such a lovely time in the backyard. The hot tub was so clean too. The beds were comfortable and the location was an easy access to everything. I would highly recommend and would like to come back next time.

Nice stay

They property is nicely updated and remodeled. Really enjoyed the outdoor space, sweet grill, and wow the water pressure is amazing. It ended up a get location close to all we needed. Host was quick to get back on any questions. I'll be back if future trips for work.

Beautiful home

This was an awesome home, newly renovated, and a great place to hang out. I wish we had more than one night to enjoy the hot tub and entertaining space. The air conditioning worked so well, it was actually cold in there! We also liked having the master off the kitchen, away from the other two rooms.

Great/Amazing place

I have no complaints. It was amazing...we cud have used a larger knife to cut a watermelon. And a cookie sheet to bake Nachos on. But we improvised. It was a wonderful place..nice and clean. We will be back!!Thank you
