True North`s five acres includes 11 sleeping areas (17 beds), 9 bathrooms, tennis court (with pickleball lines), movie theater, gym, two outdoor saunas, outdoor hot tub, three fire pits, a 32-ft dock, small beach, 1/4 mile wooded walking trail, and more. The property sits just one mile from downtown Nisswa, the Paul Bunyan Trail, shops, restaurants, & family activities.

True North is a unique place -- with all the amenities needed for an upscale 21st century retreat in northern Minnesota. Stay with us and you`ll have both the woods and the water -- combined with indoor and outdoor entertainment options for all kinds of weather. You can come together in common spaces to play games, watch movies and eat -- or find your own quiet place to read, workout, or just relax.

You`ll also be very close to the classy town of Nisswa, with local events and activities scheduled throughout the year. Nearby you can checkout historic Grandview Lodge, eat at Zorbaz on Gull, bike the Paul Bunyan Trail, snowboard at Ski Gull, try the Minnesota zip line, ride horses at Outback Ranch, hike in Pillsbury State Forest, and much more.

Book True North for your family vacation, reunion or retreat and you`ll have access to entire 5 acres and three buildings, as well as an additional one-room Bunkhouse (April through October). Off limits, however, will be the five garages.

We offer additional rental items onsite, including wedding chairs, reception tables/chairs, kayaks, and an electric golf cart; and we have partnerships with other businesses in town for guests to order catering or rent pontoons, jet skis, group yoga classes and other activities.
-- Guests are required to read and agree to the `guide book` for each cabin prior to arrival. Links `guide books` are provided approximately 5-7 days prior to check-in.
-- Pets are only allowed in the Clubhouse and the Little Cabin; and guests must seek approval for their pets prior to arrival. Pets not allowed in the `spa area` of the Clubhouse (exercise/stretching room, sauna, hot tub) or anywhere in the Lodge House. There`s a one-time fee: $95 for one dog; $150 for two dogs.
