Esta maravillosa casa también tiene dos plazas de aparcamiento privado. Esta casa de cuatro dormitorios tiene dos dormitorios en planta alta con uno de los dormitorios con vista a la piscina con acceso a la cubierta. Las habitaciones en el piso superior de la casa son tranquilas y privadas, lo que permite a los huéspedes un excelente lugar para relajarse.

El dormitorio principal se encuentra en la planta baja y tiene una cama tamaño queen, techos con vigas a la vista, falsas chimeneas con televisores de pantalla plana, pisos de madera noble y bonitas persianas sobre grandes ventanales para que tenga la opción de dejar entrar o bloquear el hermoso sol del Sur. El dormitorio principal se encuentra justo al lado de la sala de estar. El cuarto dormitorio está ubicado justo enfrente del dormitorio principal y tiene una cama tamaño queen, pisos de madera noble, ladrillos a la vista, chimenea de imitación y mucha luz natural si decide dejar las persianas abiertas.

La planta baja ofrece un gran espacio para visitar a familiares y amigos con dos habitaciones ubicadas justo al lado del área de la piscina. Una es un área de entretenimiento familiar con un bar con capacidad para cuatro personas, un televisor de pantalla plana, pisos de azulejos y mucho espacio para pasar el rato si está pasando un tiempo adentro después de darse un baño o simplemente querer disfrutar del sol. El otro espacio justo al lado del área de la piscina es el comedor formal con capacidad para ocho.

The house was very nice and in a very convenient location. Spacious, well-appointed and adequate for a group of 7 adults. The pool was great, but it would have been nice to provide pool towels as they are very bulky and not easy to cram into luggage. The antique bedframes were lovely, but the mattresses were lumpy and uncomfortable. The shower in the master bath was virtually unusable because it is so tiny. Also, the supplies were inadequate. We had to buy extra bath tissue and paper towels and used the last dishwasher pod on check out day. Considering how much we paid, it was rather irritating to not have the house adequately supplied with basics.

This was the perfect place for my family to be this Thanksgiving. Close to everything, we made so many amazing memories! We also loved that the host sent us messages checking in and answering any questions we had in a timely manner.

4 of us women stayed in this beautiful house with so much southern charm! The house is so big, we each had our own room. Location was so easy to call a ride service and less than 10 minutes to everywhere we went in Savannah. The communication and details with the property manager was excellent!!

House was an historical gem that with a few low cost repairs would be outstanding. Basic supplies were lacking, beds were not comfortable. Spackling visible on walls. A little TLC would make this house great!

We enjoyed our stay at the diplomat house very much! It was clean and very centrally located to lots of points of interest in Savannah. The only drawback for giving this place five stars was the fact that there were a few necessities that were lacking. There was no oven light, only one roll of paper towels, no cookie sheet pans, only one bath towel, washcloth and hand towel per guest. There was only one kitchen towel, no oven mitts no antibacterial hand soap either. I wish that there had been towels if the pool were to have been utilized by us or some laundry detergent to get us started. I did watch all of the videos for what to do when you get to the property and how things work, etc. I was quite confused about which door to access entry as there was no way to get in once parked in the garage. You had to walk around the front of the house and there was an upstairs door and a downstairs door, the downstairs door was sort of hidden unless you walked around the set of stairs.The garage is a mess. There’s an old car with a flimsy fence around it and barely enough room for our rental vehicle to park. We had an SUV and it would not fit all the way in the garage and be able to close it. This is something other guests may find helpful to know prior to their visit. The garage had old refrigerators, old paint, etc. Like I said, we had a lovely time and made do with what we had. These are just a few suggestions that could’ve made this stay a five star experience.

This is a great historical property in a great location. There were several little things that need to be fixed Most of the ceiling fans lights cldnt be turned off while the fan was on. Upstairs bathroom door knob is brokeTwo guests got trapped in lol. All in all we wld stay here again.

A great stop for friends gathering

This is a lovely home in a wonderful part of Savannah. Great for a gathering of old friends - there were 7 of us. The pool was lovely and is a real benefit with hot weather.

Great location,very roomy and loved the history,plenty of personal space. The TV remotes needed batteries, some of the lamps did not work, there were 7 of us and only 5 forks in the kitchen, the ironing board was broken. One bed upstairs had a bad mattress, sunken center. The electrical in the upstairs shower needs attention, the toilet door handle stuck bad, couldn't shut it. Over we enjoyed it.

Savannah Family Trip

This beautiful house was in the historic district of Savannah. The house and private pool lived up to the pictures and description of the property. The owners wete in contact with us and were easy to contact. The location is great and within walking distance of restaurants and Savannah attractions. I highly recommend this amazing house to stay in when in Savannah!

Annual family beach trip. Central location easy days drive for all of us. Loved the pool & ease to get to beach. Centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Family friendly! Only wish is that the upstairs & downstairs big bedrooms had queen or king sized beds. Had a well equipped kitchen. Adequately furnished living rooms with enough seating for all 8 of us

This was a last minute booking and host was very communicative during booking, during stay, and afterwards so we appreciated that. Place was historical old house in Savannah so understand the condition of the house is "historical". Location was fabulous as it was across the street from Forsyth Park and could walk everywhere. Appreciated the two parking spaces for our two vehicles. . The negatives were minor: 1. The weather got cold outside but the heat in the house did not travel to the 2 ground floor bedrooms (it was an icebox in there); Upstair bedrooms and the common areas were nice and toasty, however. 2. The keys only really worked on the front door; the other keys didn't close the garage or the door to the pool so we were always a bit concerned about safety. 3. Found two live roaches on our last night. 4. We were not allowed to leave our luggage in the house prior to check in at 4 pm so we had to lug our baggage around the entire first day. 5.We were 8 people but only had 6 forks and 6 spoons - at least have enough cutlery for the number of beds! Overall, however, had plenty of space to congregate, cook and be together as a family.

We’re also sorry for the roaches you encountered—this has been shared with our pest-control provider to ensure it’s addressed promptly. Regarding luggage, we’re unable to allow drop-off prior to check-in due to scheduled cleaning and inspections needed to prepare the home. However, we recommend nearby luggage storage options and also offer guaranteed early check-in for purchase when available. Thank you for pointing out the cutlery shortage. We will review and restock the kitchen inventory to ensure it meets the home’s capacity. We appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.

Family vacation

Very cool historical house in gorgeous neighborhood one block from Forsyth park. House has four spacious bedrooms well appointed. Plenty of additional space w living and dining room. Large outside shaded patio. Close to grocery and plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

Great group getaway spot

Diplomat House was perfect for our family group to celebrate a special birthday. Location near Forsyth Park was great. Outdoor space & pool along with 3 baths /4 bedrooms with large gathering areas gave everyone space to do what they needed.

Our family loved the Diplomat House and cannot wait to return! The pool is perfect, as a pool operator I was concerned that it may not be clean but it was immaculate. The house had a couple issues showing its age. It was built in 1852 so of course, there may be a few issues but none that inhibited our experience. All in all, no complaints. We would definitely return. Thank you!
