My husband and I are both lawyers working in tech based in San Francisco with our terrier-mix Bella. We grew up in Iowa and lived in Washington, DC before moving to California six years ago. When we're not in SF or Palm Springs, you'll find us in Sonoma/Napa or traveling to visit friends and family in the Midwest and on the East Coast. We love sharing our place with other Palm Springs enthusiasts who are looking to enjoy everything the desert has to offer!
Why they chose this property
We chose to buy in the Riviera Gardens community because of its history (it was originally the executive golf course of the Riviera hotel, an early playground of the Rat Pack). RG is in a quiet neighborhood with a coffee shop and several restaurants and bars nearby. Its convenient location is just a 10-minute drive from the Palm Springs airport and a five-minute drive or forty-minute walk to downtown Palm Springs.
What makes this property unique
Riviera Gardens features Spanish-style architecture that harkens back to days when Palm Springs was Hollywood's playground. The community features abundant, lush green space throughout with beautiful landscaping and two miles of shaded walking paths within its gates — great for dogs and perfect for those 100+ degree days.
