Private garden with barbecue. Free wireless internet. Centrally located near shops, public transportation, Central Park and more. The garden level has a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The 2nd floor has a bedroom w/ a queen-sized bed, kitchen, bathroom with shower and a large living room with a working brick fireplace. The living room has a queen-sized futon. There is a double-height glass atrium leading to the garden. There is cable TV in both bedrooms and in the living room. You truly get the feeling of living in New York City. Owner lives in upstairs apartment.

I live with my husband and two children in New York City's Upper West Side. We live in a 2-family brownstone. We live in one apartment and rent the other to people visiting. We love to travel.

Great NY rental

We had a great stay. The apartment was perfect for our trip (2 couples). The Upper West Side is a comfortable area to be in, and there are two major subway lines easily available. The apartment is really nice, with the upstairs and downstairs portions making it like 2 separate apartments, so good for two couples. Definitely recommended.

This property is a genuine 2 bedroom & 2TB rental. I had the opportunity to meet the owners, Jamie & Alexie. They were accommodating and very responsive to our minor requests.

The rental is well equipped with appliances and implements for people who prefer to stay in longer.

As I mentioned, the location is a definite plus factor. Three blocks away from a main subway station. Many good restaurants (with a variety of cuisine) within a few blocks around the unit. For stay-in guests, there are many service facilities (delis, groceries, supermarkets, pharmacies) around the unit.

We would definitely consider staying here in our future visits to New York.

It is a nice house in a good location

We stayed in this property with our kids. The facilities are good in the property. We spent good time and we recommend the property to families with children while the couples may use it. It is close to Central Park and also transportation is easy by subway as there are main different lines in a close proximity. This is a town house therefore it is not a new house but it is a good experience and in the neighbourhood it is good to see these houses. There is a garden that is helpful when you travel with the children.

Better the Second Time Around

When I arrived at the apartment, it felt like coming home. This is the second time our friends and I have rented this apartment. We have no intention of looking elsewhere. The best of NYC in one location.

It is even near the GW bridge access off the Westside Hgwy. Don't let cabbies use the tunnels, unless a new Bridgegate blockage is in progress.

The kitchen is very serviceable, but lack of a dining area (if two bedrooms are in use) poses a slight detraction. Slight.

The bedrooms never get dark at night. The shades are completely translucent and keep things bright all night long. That is a significant detraction.

Still, location and separation of bedrooms is fantastic. It is spacious. And the library actually includes Hegel and Fichte -- amazing.

EXCELLENT, Clean, Convenient & SpaciousTownhouse!

We loved our stay at this beautiful, spacious townhouse on the UWS. Jamie, the owner, was very accommodating and responded to all of our questions quickly via email. We were a party of 6 (a married couple, my husband and myself and my two young daughters). The townhouse is divided into two levels. The ground level (with its own entrance) has 1 large bathroom with a tub, 1 bedroom, a mini-fridge, a TV and access to the private garden. The upstairs level (with its own entrance) has a living room with a futon and two couches that can be used as sleeping accommodations. The living room also has a TV, a table with two chairs and a view of the private garden through large windows. After walking through the upstairs living room, there is a bathroom/shower just off of the hallway. The kitchen is next in the hallway. The kitchen is very spacious and literally has everything item you can imagine. There were plates, cooking utensils, dishwasher tabs, ice trays, hand towels, coffee pots, a dishwasher, full fridge, oven, stove, stools for sitting at the large wood island, etc. Past the kitchen, the hallway ends in a bedroom that has a sliding door to close it off from the kitchen. This bedroom has beautiful windows that offer a full street view, but nice shades to block out the light for sleeping. The bedroom also has a table/chairs and several cute window seats. My husband and myself stayed downstairs, my two little girls slept on the futon in the upstairs living room and our married friends stayed in the upstairs bedroom past the kitchen. The layout of the townhouse gave everyone plenty of space! Everything was very clean and there were plenty of extra linens and towels.

The townhouse was located conveniently close to lots of food options. We got groceries from Whole Foods. We ordered a FANTASTIC margherita pizza from Little Italy Pizza on 92nd St. We also had lots of options of other ethnic foods that delivered for free. The townhouse was also very close to the subway, which made travel around the city super easy and cheap!

Thank you, Jamie, for a wonderful stay! After having another rental cancel on us weeks before our trip, we were delighted the we stumbled upon this treasure of a townhouse.
