One of the best views in Hiawassee. From nearly every room, take in panoramic views of Lake Chatuge, the U.S. National Forest, and Brasstown Bald—the tallest point in Georgia. Enjoy stunning sunsets from the wrap-around covered deck, complete with lounge chairs, rocking chairs, outdoor dining, and ceiling fans. A security camera is located at the front porch and covers only the driveway area.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Please pick up any cigarette butts or trash left by your group that may be in the yard. Thank you.
Please check the deck, porch, and yard in case you need to scoop after your pet before departing. Thank you.
Please be sure you lock up the home and check all doors and return the key to the box and spin the numbers. The housekeeper may not come immediately after you depart. Thank you.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Put all TVs back on cable TV on departure day if games, Netflix or any other device is hooked up to the TVs. If not a $50 tech fee will be assessed.
Put all TV remote controls in front of TVs on day of departure. There will a $50 fee for lost remote controls.
Leave hot tub lids closed when not in use. Do not stand on Hot Tub Lids. Clean up excess pet hair or an extra $50 cleaning fee will be assessed.

It was hard to believe that there was such a beautiful cabin up this mountain road that was so close to the conveniences of being so close to town. Easy to find. When you first walk in we noticed how clean and spotless this home was! When I mean clean, you could eat off the floors. I would not recommend doing that, but you could! These views were fantastic, they provided everything needed for a week stay as well. Clean hot tub as well!! We would definitely rebook here in the future.

We are at Brasstown Bald, the tallest point in Georgia. You can take a shuttle most of the way or take a nice walk. You can see the monument from the balcony of our rental home, looks like a hay silo to the left. The view from the home is a beautiful breathtaking view with at least a 40 mountain peak view of national forest along with a peaceful view of Lake Chatuge and a western sunset exposure. The view can even be enjoyed from the living area in the winter.

Hiawassee is one of the most beautiful and peaceful towns in North Georgia. Small enough to make you feel away from all the hustle and chaos of a larger city but large enough to enjoy shopping and dinning in a small town. See how beautiful Lake Chatuge and the mountains of North Georgia can be. Just one mile from the middke of Hiawassee, this home is at the at a dead end private road. You may even hear the creek that is on one side of the property. You will feel like you are all alone with nature.

What makes this property unique

Lake Lovers Overlook is just 1/2 mile from the middle of Hiawassee off Hwy 76. This home has a private feeling on a dead end road. You can often hear the creek from the wrap around balcony. Enjoy the sunset over the mulit-peak mountain range, you can even see Brasstown Bald, the tallest point in Georgia. Bell Mountain Park is just 1/2 miles away. The home is decorated in a mountain theme decor. The living room has a breathtaking view of Lake Chatuge and the mountains. Enjoy a fantastic view from Bell Mountain Park. Just off hwy 76 up Shakrag Rd. Take a left at the Buckridge Sign and go up the paved road and enjoy Bell Mountain!
