About Paul Ehrlich
This is the second custom home we have built on the same property bordering the Chattahoochee.
Paul Ehrlich purchased this House in 1995
Why Paul Ehrlich chose Helen
Nestled in a private, wooded, neighborhood, accessed by private road less than 1/2 mile from paved road. Hike along the road to view 4 small lakes and beautiful views. Easy access to the river and still only a few miles from all amenities.
What makes this House unique
This is more than a cabin. Not the normal heavy pine walls and beams, but still a cabin with matching log siding paneling on the outside and inside. First class appliances and systems throughout.

My husband, two boys (14 and 11) and I enjoyed a relaxing spring break at this lovely home. We caught two trout and a bass off the back deck and had an amazing fresh fish dinner! We hiked various trails outside of Helen and enjoyed local food (Sheila’s for lunch, Hickory Stump BBQ and Fritches Farmers Market for AMAZING milk shakes). We played pool daily when we came back to the house. It was too cold to get into the water but the weather was perfect for going outside during the day on our hiking excursions. We walked a 2 mile loop around the properties each morning and enjoyed the fresh air and the beautiful animals at the farm around the bend.
Excellent Vacation Retreat for Family
This vacation home met all our expectations for a family gathering during the Christmas holidays. Our family had a fantastic time. There were multiple hiking trails in the area. You will not be disappointed if you rent this home.
Great Location, beautiful home
The home's interior was even more attractive than photos showed. The setting was beautiful and made for a perfect Thanksgiving. We were very appreciative of the more upscale furnishings and interesting art work and accessories used to decorate the home. The walk done to the river was an easy walk and we enjoyed seeing a beautifully clear Chattahoochee. I don't really have any negatives other than it may be time to replace (or add) some of the kitchen items, cookware and utensils. I would definitely recommend this rental!
BEAUTIFUL AND RELAXING
My family and I had an amazing time here. The house was beautiful inside and outside. We had a fire going both inside and outside each day and night. We enjoyed the view of the river and overall landscaping. Our kids had a great time in the game room and outside exploring around the property. We will definitely stay here again.
Great river house
Beautiful home in a great location
We enjoyed our stay. The house is very nice and the setting is great. If you would like to stay in a pretty home on the Chattahoochee River, this is the place to be.
