Could use some updates and a little maintenance but overall was a great space! Plenty of room for 3 couples. Great location to all we did. Great space at the table to play games, space for all to watch a movie.

We loved the location and the house. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. We did have an ant problem in the kitchen and master bedroom. Other than that it was great!

This is a great property. Location is great and views are awesome. Had an issue with hot water in the master suite and unfortunately while wasn't fixed I still loved the property and believe the management team was trying to get fixed. Other issues like the handle on the toilet braking was fixed very promptly.

Winter Getaway

This was a great place to stay with friends. Beautiful views, very clean, manager was very helpful. Convenient location close to town. Only negative was that it is next to the power plant which runs 24/7 but with the A/C on you can't hear it.

Exuma Getaway

We came down to the island for 4 nights and FantaSea Villa was a great home base. Near to attractions and the airport and, to be honest, the home is almost a destination in itself! The views were incredible, the pool and accommodations were quite comfortable for our party of 6, and Cleo was very communicative and easy to work with. The only issue we had was... our stay wasn't long enough! We hope to be back soon!

Great Island Getaway location!

Our time spent at Fanta Sea was fantastic! Beautiful view and perfect location in the middle of the island. There are several quite beaches very close, some even walking distance. The villa is located next to Splash bar and grill, and we definitely recommend. We would 100% stay again!

A hilltop pleasure

The home was much larger than the 4 of us needed, however we would certainly stay here again. Coast to coast views from the upper decks made for some wonderful photo memories. The pool was perfect for a relaxing swim after a long day exploring the island.

Beautiful views & great owner

Nicely updated and great floor plan. Views are incredible (while sitting in the house looking through all the windows and doors or sitting on one of the rear porches. Less than five minute walk to great bar/restaurant and beach. Willy, the owner, seemed like an all around good guy and was very helpful with questions about the house or the island.

Perfect vacation!!

Fantasea Villa was conveniently located from the airport, George Town, and all the beaches and attractions were easily accessible!! The weather was perfect every day of the week we stayed. Restaurants provided good food, good drinks, and most of all very friendly and nicest people to wait on us!!! The property manager Willie was always available to answer all the questions and requests we had. There are no words fit to describe the beauty of the ocean and the white sand beaches. The best vacation we had to date! We will certainly plan to go back!!! ❤️😎😍

Escape to Exuma!

Fanta Sea was a great property centrally located on the island and secluded from other rentals with an amazing view. Everything described in the listing is exactly how the house was. Cleo, the property manager greeted us at the door when we arrived and was available on What’s app with answers to any question throughout our stay. She was great! Beach towels were provided and nice. The bath towels were quality and very nice. A car is a must to be able to enjoy all the island has to offer. All the public beaches are so quiet it’s almost like you have the beach to yourself. And each one is gorgeous. Plenty of restaurants close to the property too. We had a great time!

No hot water for 2 days poor response

We went 2.5 days with no hot water heater . Water heater went bad . When we called they were quick to send someone over but they couldn’t fix it and called coming else. The 2nd person figured out water heater was bad but was in no hurry to get one . I understand it takes time to get . But 2.5 days??? We said ok but we want a partial refund due to no hot water . At this time we were ghosted . Called , text and got no response . No refund . I would recommend this place at all . It’s also not Walking distance to beach . You have to drive a little distance then walk . It was very clean and a nice house . Had a great view and centrally located . Staffs non response made it not with it though . I would not recommend this place . I didn’t expect much if a refund but a day would have been nice. Instead we were treated poorly and ignored

Beautiful views and very clean!

The property has one of the nicest views on the entire island! The covered porch was perfect for enjoying coffee and at the end of the day. The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. You will need to get bottled water for drinking - they had some jugs in the fridge which was great! Cleo was wonderful to work with. The pool is smaller than it looks in the pictures, but that was fine and we enjoyed it at the end of the day! You can walk to Jolly Hall beach, but you have to walk beside the Queens highway for a bit. We drove.You can park along the road for a lot of beaches. You can walk to Splash restaurant - we enjoyed it. But a couple of days later it was closed (not sure if it reopened) We also ate at Shirleys, It was just ok. Restaurants seem to close on the weekends, and may randomly close. I highly recommend calling to be sure they're open! On weekends, get reservations or call ahead for pickup. It can take a long time to get food. A lot of beaches were hard to find. There is very little signage. Research detailed directions ahead of time to save yourself time and frustration! It's worth the hunt though! Hint: look for "Beach Access" signs. A lot of the roads to beaches are in rough shape (some can wash out) We were VERY glad we rented a Jeep! Recommend Smittys grocery store - it's much nicer than the Shop Rite. Note that groceries are expensive -about twice the price in the states Overall a wonderful stay and I would rent the house again!

Great view and good location

We LOVE Exuma and the FantaSea offers a great central location and if you don't need to be on the ocean, the view is amazing. Willie is super responsive and helpful. The property is as advertised, you see what you get in the posting. It could use some TLC, deep cleaning. and functional and comfortable furniture (living room set is patio furniture - as pictured and beds are a little shaky). It is a very basic rental, but provides great space and function. Location is central to everything, but will still require a car. The only restaurant regularly open in walking distance is Splash at Hideaways (staff is not super friendly) and food isn't great. Frankie Bananas is no longer open and Latitudes may have been open 1 day while we were there for 11 and never experienced it. But, there is way too much more to experience on the island and Shirley's and other shacks are open down the road, grocery and liquor stores available nearby and just fun to explore unique and different places throughout this beautiful destination. We highly recommend: Hopper's Bay (turtles), Coco Plum, Jolly Hall (although we didn't get to experience on a calm day), Tropic of Cancer is overrated, but worth the drive to see it and other beaches on Little Exuma. Haulover Bay beach bar is a hidden gem and so special - if you go during low tide you can walk to Man O War island. Santana's is there too and don't miss Mom's Bakery (yum!) - make a day or two of Little Exuma and seeing the Salt Flats.. We rented a boat 2 days (Minns and Island Exclusive) and took a fantastic full day tour with Exuma Water Sports (if you are going to do ONE thing, do this - such unique things to see). When you see pictures of empty long beautiful beaches, they are accurate - you feel like you might have this island to yourself and it is truly a relaxing and tropical destination that we will be coming back to.

Clean, breezy and close to everything you need

We really enjoyed our stay. The breeze was wonderful on the hill and the view was spectacular!! The house was clean, spacious and attractive. The furniture was comfortable and the king size bed was so good that I slept like a baby every night. The pool was fun, and swimming at night was a real treat. The location is near the fish fry and three other restaurants, but our favorite was Splash. I really learned to appreciate a screened in restaurant like Splash, because it keeps the flying insects away. Splash also does carry out, so you can bring your burger, pizza or my favorite.... Cracked Conch, home to enjoy them. I only ended up cooking breakfasts and one lunch at the house, but the house was well stocked with anything you will need. There was a brand new grill that I wanted to use, but we ended up going out to dinner every night. This was my fourth trip to Exuma, and I don't know how I never made it to Jolly Hall Beach before now. This beach was clean, gentle waves with a nice soft sandy bottom and never had more than 5-6 people on it. Be sure to go to Jolly Hall Beach, you will absolutely love it. In the evenings we planned on watching movies on the TV, we had downloaded movies onto my brothers iPad, but it didn't work out. I am no tech genius, but my Brother is, and between the Regatta crowd overloading the internet, and the fact that the iPad wouldn't project to the TV ( because Apple is so fussy and proprietary), we were not able to use the TV to watch the movies. What we did was even better. We watched the movies on the iPad, on the deck, with the breeze keeping us cool. Wonderful!! I do recommend you bring DVD's to play on the DVD player, as your back up plan, but maybe your Netflix will work for you. I am very picky about where I stay, and I would absolutely rent this house again, and you can feel comfortable renting it too. Perfect location!!

perfect house for a 3 generation family vacation

My husband, daughter, son-in-law, and 4 and 6 year old grandchildren just returned from a 10 night stay at Fantasea. Perfect house for us. The small pool kept the kids entertained in the morning while the adults relaxed on the veranda with coffee and breakfast. We had the double doors from the house open each day to enjoy the view and beautiful breezes. The only time we had to close them was one evening .when there was no breeze as we were getting bitten by noseeums. .The 3 bedrooms on the second floor were perfect for our family. Two of the bedrooms opened out onto the 2nd floor deck which had even better views than the veranda. The info on the Homeaway site states that both of the rooms have queen-sized beds. While we were happy to discover the master has a king-size unfortunately for our 6'8" son-in-law. the other bedroom only had a double bed. The third bedroom had twin beds which worked great for our grandsons. All three ensuite baths were well appointed although the master jacuzzi did not work. No big deal for us. The only negative we could find is that the kitchen is not well appointed if you want to prepare meals, which we did most nights. While we never met Angie, she was prompt in her replies whenever I emailed her with a question or concern. Willy met us at the house upon arrival and did a great job of familiarizing us with the details of where things were and how to work the various systems. He and our grandsons developed a nice friendship as Willy showed them how to open a coconut one of them found (no easy task!) and even returned the next day with a coconut that had already started to sprout into a tree, roots, leaves and all. He left it with the boys and promised to come back to plant it with them, and he did. Another plus is the location. While we did rent a car, mainly to grocery shop and visit other beaches such as Cocoplum, Hooper and Tropic of Cancer (all must sees) we really enjoyed being able to walk down the hill to access restaurants, bars and Jolly Hall Beach. To get to the beach we walked across the street and through the walkway to Splash Bar and Grill. Then onto a beach with a 5 minute walk to Jolly Hall. This beach also has plenty of shade. We were pleased to discover that the water was warm enough for all of us to be in it every day. We will be back to Fantasea again.
