This was property was not just a place to stay, but an experience. The decor is so cute, the outdoor space created memories I will never forget watching my family play for hours. Cheryl and Rodney were so sweet. We will be staying there again and again.

Thank you for sharing the great experience you had staying at our property! We look forward to having you back at the farm to relax, play, and create more wonderful memories!
It provided more than I had hoped. Yard space, large barbeque, children in mind with books and activities, and tables and chairs for eating inside or out.

The house and hosts were perfect. We came for a family gathering originating from Texas, Arkansas and Mississippi, At check-in the host greeted us and walk us around showing us every aspect of their home. The house is equipped with everything you need for everyday living, to include yard games and more. It is serene with all the comforts of home. The hosts are very attentive for any needs you may have. If the opportunity arises again we will be staying here. Thank you again for the wonderful experience.

Quiet country stay conveniently located near Oroville and Chico. Huge lawn surrounded by many different fruit trees available for the picking in season. Informative, friendly, and knowledgeable owners who live on site. One of our very favorite vacation stays.

The house is super clean, spacious, homie and very cute! A group of us stayed there it was a perfect location for us and very close to our event. It’s in a very peaceful and quiet setting right in the middle of a farm. I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re passing through the area. Way better than a hotel!!
Rural setting but still close to everything. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. House was clean and had everything we might have needed. Would definitely recommend this location. If we are in the area again would definitely reserve this one again. Checkout was a breeze.

While the home was a ways out of town, I preferred it. Quick access to hwy 99. The home is spacious, comfortable, and clean and the 3 bathrooms came in handy. The yard around the property is huge and well manicured. The hosts were very hospitable. We're looking forward to the next time we stay.

We’re happy that you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for leaving the place so clean and tidy! We appreciate it and look forward to hosting you and your family again.
Overall great experience and will be staying again. House was very clean and stocked full of goodies. Spacious for kids to run around and play. Quiet and peaceful location. Hosts are easy to get a hold of and made everything run very smooth. Perfect spot for our family to stay and have people come to us instead of us running around trying to see everyone on our visits.

Cheryl and Rodney were amazing hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. Their home was well stocked for our large family and we had plenty of space to run around. The large family room was perfect for our Friday movie night and the sun room was a hit for those early sunrises with fresh coffee. If you're in the area I would high recommend considering this peaceful location.

This is an amazing ranch-style house on a rice farm. The house was awesome and the property is quiet and serene. The place has a fully stocked coffee bar, plenty of room and all the amenities you could ask for. The host was easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. All I can say is I wish we could've stayed longer to enjoy the home and the property! It's also only about a 25 minute drive to Chico. Highly recommend!
My favorite vacation rental yet! Cheryl and Rodney live on the property and were so thoughtful and attentive to our every need. The huge yard was perfect for the kids to run and play, the house was beautiful and spacious, and the farm country feel was peaceful and relaxing. The beds were super comfortable, everything was clean and we had everything we could possibly need. It’s close to Biggs, Oroville and Chico without actually being in the cities. We will definitely go here again and hope we’ve made some new friends!

Thank you for the great review! We are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and we appreciated getting to know you and your family. Your utmost respect for the property and the immaculate way you left it was the icing on the cake! Thank you for choosing us, for being our very first guests, and for the gift of our guestbook.
We loved the big open living spaces- huge cozy living room with two dining areas; the open kitchen allowed access for conversation to the dining and living room. Granddaughters helped cook and learn new recipes with grandma. Outdoor games were a hit with the grandsons and the board games inside for all ages. One of my favorite areas was the screened in back porch for morning coffee, and listening to the birds. Every room was meticulously decorated with colorful, cheery, homey, and comfortable surroundings. The atmosphere of the whole vacation was kick off your shoes and worries and “Just Relax”. The hosts, Cheryl and Rodney were wonderful! We will be back.

Thank you so much! We enjoyed meeting you and are happy that everyone was comfortable and relaxed. Loved seeing the kids outside playing and having fun in the yard. And thank you for leaving the house in such wonderful condition, for sharing your pie with us, and for the suggestion of a few additional items in the kitchen for larger meals and baking. They are now on my list of purchases!

We're rice farmers! Rodney is a 3rd generation rice farmer and has been farming for nearly 50 years. Cheryl became his #1 harvester driver after her retirement as an HR manager.
Why they chose this property
When you farm, you generally farm the ground your family grew up on. The best part of the farm is our location is away from the busyness of town, but close enough to get to town easily. We really like that our property is close to a major highway and that the actual residence is set far back from the road, which gives us more peace and quiet.
What makes this property unique
We think our property is unique because it allows guests to see different aspects of farm life. We love to share what we do and the different aspects of growing rice. We also share our seasonal produce with guests. Whether is from our peach, cherry, plum, persimmon, nectarine, or citrus trees, or our watermelon and pumpkins in the fall, if your here when it's ready, you can pick what you want. We also share our homegrown popcorn with our guests. We also think it's wide open grassy areas are great for families. The main area of the house is large and open for easy flow and family time together.
