The cabin was nice and clean. The beds were comfy. The view was amazing! The kitchen was well stocked. The hot tub was nice! It is also close to downtown Blue Ridge.

Everything was perfect for our 29th wedding anniversary. The cabin is gorgeous and so are the views! Can’t wait to come back again!

The Host was fantastic! Quick responses to questions I had. The cabin was spotless with what seemed like brand new appliances! We enjoyed our stay in their cozy cabin! Can’t wait to visit again!

Anniversary trip

We had an amazing stay at knotty bear! Everything was clean and exactly as described. We utilized the board games, hot tub, swing, grill, and both the fire pit and fire place. We will absolutely be back!

Cute cabin with beautiful views

This cabin is wonderful! It is high up with a picture perfect view of the surrounding mountains. It is only about 10 to 15 min from downtown Blue Ridge. The cabin was very clean and welcoming. Communication was easy!

Highly recommend. 10/10 for sure. Can’t think of a single thing negative. Host was very helpful, quick to respond to any questions. Cabin appeared brand new, very clean, everything work great, fire pit, hot tub, Keurig etc.. sunrise was amazing in perfect view from the back deck. Make sure to bring firewood and fire starter with you. I will tell my friends and I plan to visit again myself.

Mountaintop cabin

The cabin was in a nice quiet area high in the mountains. Sitting in the swing outside the master bedroom was a wonderful view in a peaceful setting. We did not take advantage of the hot tub but it can be curtained off for privacy. Due to our error, we needed to message the host and within minutes we had an answer. The cabin was clean and had all the comforts of home. A lot of items were furnished that you don’t usually find in cabin rentals. They were definitely appreciated as we had forgotten a couple of things.

Fantastic views, relaxing getaway

Knotty Bear cabin was a wonderful place to stay! On the outside, it has lovely views & great porches, and is far enough from the neighbors that residents have a sense of privacy. Inside, it's nicely arranged for a very comfortable stay. Luxurious linens and multiple cozy spots to sit made it very relaxing, and the hot tub was a great way to counter the chilly & rainy weather. An engraved Jack Daniels barrel made an amusing base for the dining area table. Bear decorations abound (which makes sense, given the cabin's name.)It was a short drive to Blue Ridge, GA, although we opted for the Lucius Rd route in and out so we could stay on paved roads. (The Maxwell Rd route had a few gravel & muddy areas where we had to avoid puddles & potholes from recent heavy rains.) The road was quite step in some spots, so shifting down into a lower gear was helpful. The views are wonderful! Unfortunately, we didn't have clear night skies to appreciate the stars. That's something to look forward to on a future trip.
