El salón tiene una chimenea, ideal para las noches más frías durante los meses de invierno. Durante el verano, el patio principal incluye una piscina de 9 pies de profundidad a unos pasos de la puerta principal. Cool place

Enjoyed the stay! Great location to the park. Private pool. Host great to communicate with, Easy to access local restaurants. There’s a kitchen and bbq but we ate out this round. Lots of space. Place has a lot of character which was really cool to experience. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Desert Getaway

Ron was very informative and accommodating for my 40 high school reunion trip. I hadn’t been back to 29 Palms in 30 years and had no clue as to where to stay. I did know it would be hot, so I looked for a place with a pool. I picked the right place because the location and the unique character of the house was so cool! Ron updated us on the places to eat and we had a grand time! I hope to be back again! Thanks!

We had a wonderful time.

The Western motif is delightful. There are so many artifacts which are both kitschy and authentic that we felt like we were staying in kitsch museum. The pool and and hot tub were both refreshing in their own way. If you are going to be in 29 Palms, We highly recommend considering staying here..

An Oasis in the desert!

We loved our stay in Twentynine Palms! This very cool property is minutes from the National park and Twentynine Palms inn, and fun shopping. The pool and hot tub are well maintained, surrounded by palms and desert plants. Our hosts were attentive to whatever we may need and the house was so comfortable, as were the beds and the washer and dryer were a great convenience. We loved sitting out at night watching the stars. What more can we say?! What a gem! Thank you to our hosts!

Mid Century Desert Nostalgia

Evocative 60s experience. Not the easily reproduced PS condo style, so not boring. Uniquely reminiscent of youthful postwar swinging lifestyle. Lots of memorabilia. Prepare to be curiously nostalgic.

A great base for Joshua Tree and so much more than the photos suggest.

The photos present an impression of a fairly small place with a shared pool and tiny bedrooms. It's not that at all. The property is quite large: the pool isn't shared so you have it all to yourself, there's also gigantic covered hot tub (not pictured), an outdoor kitchen, two separate shaded lounging areas, and an outdoor bar with a stereo and fridge. Everything is incredibly richly decorated with the fruits of a lifetime's collecting of local art and some delightful kitsch too. Inside, the master bedroom is large and comfortable, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need *including sharp knives* which has to be a first. The second bedroom is much smaller but has its own en suite and plenty of storage. It's also guarded by a collection of Native American life-size statues and art. Nothing is particularly new, though everything worked just fine. My tastes lean towards the quirky and eclectic, lived-in style and I found it perfect. Those looking for pristine, white, international Ikea minimalism will want to go elsewhere. The hosts (Ron and Theresa) are lovely people and made us very welcome; I'm not sure how to describe their approach other than to say it's a blend of the best bits of a couple renting out their vacation home and a professionally-run business. They're on text/cell and full of personal recommendations. You're only minutes from Joshua Tree, it's a great home base from which to explore the park. Local stores have everything. Highly recommended.

Desert Gem!

The pics just cannot convey the charm, uniqueness, and all-around appeal of this perfect little slice of desert. We were totally blown away! The hosts were marvelous and very friendly. The house and yard are very fun, private, and accommodating. Very close to Joshua Tree Nat’l Park and all that it has to offer. We could not have been more impressed or happy with our stay. Can’t wait until next year!

Great Outdoor Area

We really love this property. Its yard/patio is large and well laid out. Lots of spaces to sit or lay down. The master bedroom is very large and the bed is comfortable. Three TV sets, a bar area, music, mood lighting and more. We found everything clean and dust free. The neighborhood is safe and we felt safe during our stay. We will be back soon.

Pictures don’t do it justice!

When we walked in we couldn’t believe how big the pool was. We were thinking maybe it was a shared pool because it was so big, but we’re grateful to find out it was all for us! It was big and DEEP which my 9 year old was SO excited about. The entire outside is like a huge compound, including a complete outdoor kitchen! The hot tub was amazing! The house was well appointed with everything you could ever need. The master bedroom is HUGE with TONS of storage! It’s just a magical property, so special! The Hosts were the best hosts we have ever had! So friendly, helpful and wonderful! They gave so many suggestions of things to do! Warning, once you get to the property it is REALLY hard to leave! 10/10 and a million stars.

So much fun!

Ron and Cindy are wonderful hosts. Sent a text to us to make sure we had everything we needed . Loved the welcome sign when arriving. The outdoor area is so fun and relaxing. Lots of fun outdoor lights at night. The pool and spa are awesome, I love the 9 feet deep pool. Having your own bar makes it so much fun. Very private and quiet lots of morning birds. The house had everything that we needed. It is a bit rustic but that's a positive rustic. The yard is its own botanical garden with so many amazing cactus, succulents and other plants.My favorite part was the doves nest on the back patio. I got to watch baby birds hatch and the male and female attending to them. Thank you again and we'll be back before you know it. Enjoy your stay!

Location, location, location

This wonderful oasis in the desert is right on the National Park Road into Joshua Tree National Park. Also, a short drive to grocery stores and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
