Perfect location, privacy, and convenience! Our house is close to everything and it is great for those who don't want to carry their things up and down stairs. The ground-level floor includes a modern den & dining room with a cathedral ceiling, kitchen with tile counter tops, large master bedroom, laundry room, and bathroom, plus a great screened porch with a relaxing hammock. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms: One has a double bed, a twin bed and a half bath. The other has 2 twin beds with a full bath across the hall. Exit the screened porch and walk 1 1/2 blocks to the beach. Private fenced in front yard.
With the many windows and cathedral ceiling you feel like you are living amongst the tree tops because our house is surrounded by ancient oaks.

We love the location of our beach house because it is the narrow part of Isle of Palms which has a very small town feel and is very peaceful, but it is just blocks from our favorite restaurants and night spots.
We love riding our bikes down to the beach and then the 9 blocks to Breach Inlet. Then back to our favorite breakfast spot, The Sea Biscuit!
My family and I stayed at Coons Nook over the Christmas Holiday between Christmas and New Year's 2016. Carol and her husband have a great property 1.5 blocks from the beach on the Isle of Palms in South Carolina. The property is convenient to the beach community of the Isle of Palms. The beach was very close as was a number of shops and restaurants near the Isle of Palms central park and shopping area.
Our accommodations were great for our family, as we were visiting our Navy Sailor at the nearby naval base. We were conveniently located near the main attractions of Charleston such as Patriots Point, the downtown Charleston area and the beach - although at the time we were there beach type activities were less emphasized due to the climate.
The home was conveniently situated along Palm Boulevard, which made access to the causeways to Charleston and Goose Creek very easy to negotiate. The home featured ample bedroom space and living space for us all to hang out. The kitchen was adequately equipped with necessary utinsils and cooking gear The dining/living room area were comfortable and the bedrooms were comfortable as well for our 3 teens, affording them privacy with bathrooms upstairs.
The rear enclosed deck was a nice feature offering privacy for evening hang outs. Beds and furnishings were comfortable and the layout was easy and cozy.
We would recommend Coon's Nook for travelers seeking quick access to the beach or convenient highway access to downtown Charleston! Very pleasant stay!
We came and stayed over a long weekend and really enjoyed ourselves. We had two young couples and found this house to be a great mix of value and location. The short walk both to the beach (1.5 blocks) and downtown Isle of Palms (2-3 blocks) was ideal to both get to the beach and local dining/nightlife. The photos accurately describe the house, it could use a little updating, but very comfortable and enjoyable. We would definately stay again!
We had a wonderful time in this home. The bedding setup was perfect for my family, everyone had the perfect spot! The home is nice and shaded, with a wonderful back porch. The hammock was a favorite of the kids! The owners were very nice and accomodating. The location of this home is very convenient, whether coming across the Isle of Palms connector, or crossing over from Sullivan's Island. It was easy to access the home once on the island. Also, the short walk to beach was very convenient, and we were within walking distance of the shops downtown Isle of Palms. We had great vacation!
