The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
-When it is time to check out, please load the dishwasher and start it.
-Strip the sheets & pillow cases (NOT decorative pillows) from the beds that have been slept in and put them by the laundry room door in the basement. Leave other bedding for each room IN each room.
-All bags of garbage should be bagged, tied and put in the garbage cans by the small blue shed. -Please lock the doors on your way out, but be sure not to lock the deadbolt on the front door. Thanks!

Wonderful and hidden Fall Gem!!

This stay was an amazing little get away for our family Thanksgiving. The host has an awsome riverside style to the property. A warm and welcoming home with peaceful riverside cups of coffee. I cant recommend enough. We will definitely be staying again!! Thanks again Jill!

Wonderful stay! comfortable and beautiful home

We had a wonderful stay at this home! We loved the trail down to the river and the kids had so much fun playing in the water and by the river. The home was comfortable and inviting, and Jill is a great communicator. The process was smooth and no complications. The driveway is easy to drive past but we found it, and love how quiet and private the property was. We would totally stay here again any time we are in the area!

Great property overall! Only small issues.

Our family enjoyed staying at this house! It was fun and had a lot of nice little touches, like shampoo and makeup remover, etc. The property owners are very nice and responsive, too! There are just a few things that were not terrible, but bothersome, which prompted me to give the house only 4 stars. 1) The yard is a little wild, which you can see in the photos, but the weeds in the back should be cut back with a weed eater more often as we had to "wade" through them to go to the water down the path. 2) We used the grill, but it was not easy. There was no igniter on the grill, nor proper grill utensils, and only a small lighter provided. We ended up getting our fingers greasy lifting up the grill plate and lit the grill with the small lighter - a little scary and definitely not ideal. However, the next renters will have it a little easier as the the owner did stop by with a couple long necked lighters after I sent a message, which was super nice! 3) The house is hard to find. Once you know the location trick, then it's perfectly okay, but everyone who came by got lost down the nearby road or passed the driveway altogether.
