Come experience the beauty of Smith Lake at "Cabin at Eagle Cove"!

Located in a serene cove with minimal traffic, this beautiful property is ideally located near Duskin Point Marina and Smith Lake Dam, promising a memorable stay on the shores of Smith Lake. This 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath house will provide you everything you need for a perfect getaway and relaxing vacation with family and friends. Enjoy time outside on the new dock with swim pier during the day, kayaks, paddle boards and lilypad. Relax around the lakeside fire pit in the evening or grill on the gas grill (connected to main propane gas line).

Fully equipped kitchen - with seating for 4 at kitchen table, 2 at the bar; and additional seating for 8 more at table underneath covered deck.

Layout of bedrooms:

Bedroom 1: King size bed. - located on main level - Also has a pack n' play for babies.

Bedroom 2: Queen size bed - located on upper level

Bedroom 3: Queen size bed - located on upper level

Bedroom 4: Two twin size beds, Bunk bed (twin over twin); and twin size bed with trundle - located on upper level - This room has a 50 inch television.

Lakeside dock offers a swim pier and single boat slip for the guest's use. 27x10' boat slip. There are approximately 20 steps to the dock.

Kayaks, paddle boards and Lilypad float for Guest's use!

PET - FRIENDLY PROPERTY with payment of pet fee. Please notify us if you will bringing your pet. Guest will be charged a pet fee of $25/night/pet plus an extra cleaning fee. 2 dogs maximum.

Security cameras located outside at front and rear of house.

NO after-prom, graduation, frat, wedding, etc parties. Any gathering larger than the Max occupancy has to be preapproved. Violation will result in eviction.

House sleeps 12 in beds. 12 maximum occupancy.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE PRIMARY RENTER MUST MEET THE AGE REQUIREMENT OF 25 YEARS OF AGE.

RESERVATIONS ARE NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL GUEST HAS SIGNED THE RENTAL AGREEMENT.

This house is new construction directly on the lake. The host was communcative via text message; offering an extended stay and reasonable when we accidentally caused some damage. The area was nice and we would definately return during boating season.

The house was in great shape and modern. It sleeps 12 but only has seating in living room for 5 and 4-6 could sit for meals in kitchen. Seating outside is plentiful. The walkway to the water is gravel and washed out. It was not easy to maneuver. There is only parking for two vehicles without blocking the driveway of the two houses on either side of 51. There are not extra towels (which they made clear) but also no door mats or bath mats. The setup for bathrooms is one and a half downstairs and only one upstairs for potentially 10 people. This review is not meant to be negative but info you would need to know if rented by multiple families.

Peaceful, tranquil, family friendly. This property is a gem off the beaten path where you can truly unwind and relax if you want. The location on the water is great for kids because you are tucked into a slough with no boat traffic and choppy waters like you experience on the main channels. The water was always calm making it perfect for the kayaks and paddle boards generously provided. We packed our own firewood and skewers and enjoyed s’mores over the fire pit too! The home was very clean and comfortable overall. The kitchen was stocked with basic kitchen tools and utensils. We did not find a wine bottle opener or measuring cups larger than a tablespoon so we had to improvise on those needs. Otherwise we had everything we needed for simple meals. We had ample bath linens for our big family but did lack places to hang them to keep them fresh. One small convenience that would have been nice is towel rings near bathroom sinks for hand towels and hooks or towel bars in the bathrooms for wet towels and swimsuits. In a lake or beach home you can never have too many places to hang wet things! I’m still giving it a perfect review because those are such minor details—some people may not even notice! We would definitely stay here again! Next time I will bring my corkscrew and maybe a folding clothes drying rack. We made the sweetest family memories and would highly recommend this property for your lake-cation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very happy with our stay. Roads were easy- no potholes or washout roads. Tucked in a quiet spot off of the busy open water. Smelled and looked clean. The beds were amazing- Bamboo. Easy floating off of the dock. Nice steps on dock. Deep water. Gas grill, gas stove/oven. 2 recommendations- casserole dishes for cooking (9x13 and square). I did not feel sure footed on the gravel walk- maybe concrete fill or wood steps would be better. Andrea was very accommodating for this last minute trip.
