プール付きの静かでリラックスしたビーチフロント、カリブ海の素晴らしい景色、旧市街まで歩いてすぐの場所をお探しですか？ Casa Barbara Cartagenaは家具付きの2ベッドルーム/ 2ベッドルームです。 2つのカップル、友人のカップル、または小さな家族に最適なAC、お湯、無線LAN＆バルコニー付きの5つのバスタブモダンなアパートメント！ カルタヘナにいるときは私の家ですが、私が町にいないときは長期間の訪問者に利用できます。

アパートメントは15階にあり、アパートメントの長さに沿ったバルコニーが付いています。 あなたは毎日カリブ海で太陽を見るのが大好きです！ また、海岸のマルベーリャ/クレスポ地域の北側、そして「La Tenaza」と呼ばれる旧市街の壁にあるバルコニーからのすこやかな峰が見渡せます。 アパートの裏側には、カルタヘナの最高点であるPopaとCastillo San Felipeの景色を望む窓があります。

Super chill

Super comfortable and clean apartment overlooking the Caribbean. The breeze off the ocean was luscious, the perfect distance from the old city. Wifi was strong and consistent. Very much enjoyed the cooking lessons provided by Mari. Learned how to make patacónes, coconut rice and local fish recipes. Barb was a great resource for history, shopping and festive outings. Looking forward to another visit.

Hidden Gem in Cartagena!

This is absolutely a hidden gem in Cartagena. Not only is there AIR CONDITIONING (a rare commodity in most places in the area), but it's within a 10 minute walking distance of el centro (the "old" city center within the walls). The ocean view from the back patio is beautiful, and the rooms are extremely spacious and comfortable. We even had a walk-in closet! My boyfriend and I travel internationally often, and can say with full confidence that this is one of the nicer places that we have stayed in Colombia - and most other countries, for that matter! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Fantastic location, clean, with a pool!

Four of us stayed at Casa Barbara in April, 2018. We had a fabulous stay in this beautifully maintained condo. The beds are comfy, we loved having 2.5 baths, beach and bath towels are readily available, and we were so pleased to have wifi, AC, hot water, and a washer/dryer! The kitchen is well equipped and everything is modern and clean. The view from the balcony is incredible, and the hammocks are a wonderful touch. Building security is good, and the pool is a wonderful option. The location is conveniently located to both the airport and the Old City. Barbara communicated well throughout the process, and we loved having all of the provided information about tours, places to visit, and things to do. We will stay here again!

Fabulos stay!

Stunning views from the balcony, delightful sea breezes, immaculately maintained & well-equipped apartment, very informative & responsive host -- we couldn’t have asked for anything more! Casa Barbara was the perfect place for an extended stay for my son and me while volunteering in and exploring Cartagena. From the information that Barbara provided, we knew how to easily navigate to the Old City and beyond, arrange for a home cooked Colombian meal, purchase fresh fruit/vegetables from the nearby vendor, join a Salsa/Latin dance class, dine on delicious meals at local restaurants, visit museums on “free days” :-) , and more. Next time we will consider availing ourselves of Spanish classes also! I would highly recommend Casa Barbara!

We would not hesitate to return

We spent a wonderful four weeks in Cartagena at Casa Barbara, and everything exceeded our expectations. The apartment is a 10 minute walk from the old city, overlooks the beach and was very comfortable with all amenities. The long balcony facing the sea was so enjoyable and Edificio Zafiro is beautifully maintained by friendly, courteous staff, and the doormen were always very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Renting from Barb was an absolute pleasure from start to finish, and she couldn’t have been more responsive and helpful. Tara, Barb’s associate, was just as responsive and helpful, and Mary kept the place spotless with seemingly boundless energy. Great apartment with amazing view!

My friends and I stayed at Casa Barbara and it completely exceeded our expectations. The oceanview from both bedrooms was breathtaking, and the apartment itself was excellently decorated. It had all the amenities you could ask for, like strong wifi, a washer/dryer, A/C, and hot water, plus some added bonuses like a coffee maker and hair dryers. Everything was clearly labeled with instructions for easy use, and on the coffee table there was a book that provided great tips for what to do during our stay! On many days we took a quick 10 minute walk to the walled city to explore in the mornings and then spent the afternoons relaxing by the pool (which also has an oceanview). There was also a supermarket on the way back to the apartment from the walled city where we bought our groceries. It was the perfect place to spend a relaxing stay!

Best rental I have ever stayed in

My husband and I have just had the most outstanding rental experience we've had in our 40 years of renting property. There wasn't one thing we might have wanted or needed that wasn't there already--with clear instructions on how to use everything. The building was well run. The landlord was welcoming and very gracious and helpful. I would stay in this property again. It was very clean and very comfortable.

Casa Barbara is the best!

We stayed at Casa Barbara for four nights! It is a beautiful location right in front of the beach. After a gorgeous ten minute walk you are in the Old City where everything is located. We walked downtown every day to enjoy Colombian coffee at Juan Valdez and to shop around/sightsee. The restaurant selection in endless, but there is a fabulous local place call Esquina de Yina a right down from the building. The apartment has everything that you could ask for. We felt at home from the first moment. Barbara has detailed instructions on how to use/operate everything at the apartment which creates such a hassle free environment. We relaxed to the fullest at the large pool and in the hot tub. If we weren't out and about we were making food in the modern kitchen or out swaying in the hammocks on the balcony that is accessible from both bedrooms. It was the perfect stay and we will definitely be back!

I've lived most of my life in the U.S. but have also lived for a couple of months to up to two years in different countries: Germany, Spain, Australia, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico & Belize. Since 2011 I've been living a somewhat nomadic lifestyle while exploring, working & volunteering in new & old places in North, Central & South America (including 2 years teaching in Cartagena, Colombia) and Europe.

I started working with vacation rentals on behalf of a couple who own property in Colombia & Belize. I came back to Colombia for a work-related visit in 2015 and couldn't resist buying this apartment as it has everything: balcony, beachfront, pool in the building, in a residential area, and only a 10 minute walk to the Old City. Casa Barbara Cartagena is a quiet oasis with a great view!

I also partner with 'Pack for a Purpose', an organization that links travelers who'd like to help fulfill wish lists of non-profits in developing countries. In Cartagena, I work with Fundación Amigos del Mar, a community organization in that helps underprivileged children on the nearby island of Tierrabomba, as well as Cartagena Paws, an animal rescue group, and would love to have your help!
